President Biden on Thursday will sign executive orders aimed at requiring tens of millions more American workers to get vaccinated against the coronavirus, including the vast majority of federal employees, who could face disciplinary measures if they refuse.

The executive order is part of a larger plan that officials said would cover two-thirds of all American workers. The Biden administration also intends to compel vaccination for federal contractors as well as 17 million health care workers in hospitals and other institutions that receive Medicare and Medicaid funding, officials familiar with the plan said.

Beyond that, Mr. Biden is seeking to extend vaccine mandates to the private sector. He will also instruct the Department of Labor to draft a rule mandating that all businesses with 100 or more workers require their employees to either get vaccinated or face mandatory weekly testing, the officials said.

The change from emergency authorization to the Pfizer vaccine being fully authorized has opened the door for more aggressive actions to get Delta under control. Consequences will now be borne for millions of those people putting the public's health at risk by refusing to be vaccinated. Not to mention their refusal is causing an economic slowdown.

I suppose the emergence of more variant strains is inevitable so we must do all we can to minimize their impact.

 

Fast forward 75 years and the government will mandate abortions and sterilization after 2 kids. All the naysayers have to do is look backwards to confirm how much the government takes more and more control of our lives as the years go slowly by.

Everyone should have the CHOICE to get a vaccine. No one should ever be forced to get one.

 

Fast forward 75 years and your grandchildren will be wringing their hands over things that might happen, but never will. Actually the government is more helpful now than ever and far less controlling than it's ever been.
