Joint Chiefs chairman clashes with GOP on race theory, 'white rage' (msn.com)

[In response to questions by Matt Gaetz during Wednesday's hearing.]

Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Army Gen. Mark Milley on Wednesday said it was important for service members to understand critical race theory, shooting down assertions by Republican lawmakers that studying the topic was harmful to military cohesion.

In an impromptu and passionate statement, Milley at a House Armed Service Committee hearing rejected the assertion that critical race theory and other such teaching could be damaging, telling lawmakers that "a lot of us have to get much smarter on whatever the theory is."

"I do think it's important, actually, for those of us in uniform to be open-minded and be widely read ... and it is important that we train and we understand," Milley said. "I want to understand white rage, and I'm white."

"What is it that caused thousands of people to assault this building and try to overturn the Constitution of the United States of America? What caused that? I want to find that out. I want to maintain an open mind here, and I do want to analyze it. ... It is important that the leaders now and in the future do understand it."

    ...also

"I personally find it offensive that we are accusing the United States military, our general officers, our noncommissioned officers, of being 'woke' or something else because we are studying some theories that are out there," he added.

Getting rid of the neocons was great, especially the chicken hawks among them, but I've never seen the GOP so anti-military in my life. What happened to the conservative principle of being pro-military, one I hold dear personally? It was liberals who "spit" on the troops after Vietnam, not conservatives. Why do today's so-called conservative Republicans attack our military?

They are not "attacking" the military, just critical of the BS being woven into it.

Republicans don't need to attack the military when it's in self-destruct mode running cartoon ads about having 2 moms and being super duper woke for the LBTQGXYZ crowd.

Sad to see soy boys in our military. It took just six months for Biden to ruin it.

    .

On Tucker Carlson's FOX news show tonight after showing video and interviewing a parent who was arrested for no good reason at a Virginia school board meeting where parents were speaking out against CRT... Tucker basically said he's surprised there is not a "revolution" [yes, Tucker used that word] but then he quickly added he is not advocating it.

Btw... FOX news channel will air a repeat of Tucker's show at midnight central time.

The irony is... CRT is part of an ongoing marxist revolution... a marxist cultural revolution.

Yeah, this post is my point. Conservative values don't include disparaging the military, especially based on cheap intellectually dishonest political talking points directed at Democrats. Who the hell is Matt Gaetz to challenge General Milley on anything? I'm impressed Milley told him off.

Today's GOP has politicized all institutions, including the military. Today's GOP is anything but conservative.

It’s not the military’s job to look at current social justice issues. But if they want to look at race issues, then they should look at why the Palestinians hate Jews, why China hates Muslims, or why Muslims hate everyone.

Those generals and admirals have IQs of 150 and higher and most certainly do their homework. Seems they were far better prepared for this, than Gaetz.

And they say people with IQs that high don’t mix well with the rest of society. The Unabomber has a very high IQ, 165 I believe.

@ChiCowboy This is YOUR military. The left's military. Potato Brain's military. Hint: It's a ****ing joke.

    Yes, really.

"Nellis AFB staged its first ever drag queen show on June 17th called ‘Drag-u-Nellis’ – which it said was important in teaching military personnel the “significance of Drag in the LGBT+ Community.”

Admirals and generals promoting this woke **** have 150 IQ's? If you spotted them 50, they still wouldn't have 150 total.

Why does the GOP Hate the Military?

Is this an offshoot of Trump's 4-Year Campaign of Crapping on Veterans?

    .

In the Bible, when referring to "invincible" Babylon's military, there is a verse that says Babylon's warriors have become like women. Babylonians' own delusions weakened Babylon and shortly afterwards Babylon was conquered by Cyrus' Persia.

According to secular history, Cyrus' clever plan enabled him to conquer the city of Babylon without the Babylonians realizing their capital had been invaded. The night Cyrus' troops secretly invaded and conquered "invincible" Babylon... Babylonians were partying drunk in the streets during a festival.

It wasn't Trump who made male military cadets wear red high heels.

THAT and all the other evil perversions the military has fostered is something an enemy would do to degrade and weaken the military.

Here is more US military bashing, again. How ironic that Trump supporters will do this and call others unpatriotic, once again demonstrating their hypocrisy.

When we’re running ads about servicemen having 2 mommies or dealing with mental illness and depression BEFORE joining, we’re ****ing finished. Sorry. I doubt these people will have important jobs that require anyone relying on them. When you can’t even keep your own **** together you certainly shouldn’t be in charge of taking care of others.

Same reason you don’t want someone divorced 3 times giving you marriage advice or an obese person telling you about healthy eating.

All Putin and Xi need to do is wait patiently until the USA implodes from all its government sanctioned evil and perversion... and it appears that pitiful end is coming sooner rather than later.
