Jones has come out denying he ever said "no one died" and saying he always acknowledged that people died. He says his questions were about a "police stand down" and questions about video of men bolting for the woods. Also police audio about men dressed as nuns fleeing in a getaway van.

Jones is an idiot, but I stand resolutely against defamation law in all cases whatsoever. You are not entitled to the pleasant feelings of others.

I strongly support a duel between Alex Jones and literally anyone competent with a pistol. That would be hilarious.

I tend to agree with the anti-rat framers quite regularly, but that doesn't mean I always do. Nor did I mean to imply that the 1st protects defamatory speech.

I just don't see it as worthy of condemnation. There are literally no words you can say to me or about me which would raise my ire. Thats my view, not that of the framers.

I think constantly going off on your radio show about how someone’s child is a liar and not dead, all in the name of selling penis pills, may be beyond what the framers had in mind.

As I said, I simply dislike defamation law, I did not mean to imply it was unconstitutional.

Really? If someone, for example, told your employer and anyone else who would listen (the completely untrue statement) that you were a pedophile, and that resulted in you losing your job, then your house, then your family, don't you think that would raise your ire?

I hasten to make it clear that I am not accusing you of that or suggesting it is true in any way. Quite the opposite. The whole point is that the statement from the malicious theoretical third party is completely UNTRUE. So even though the statement was untrue and caused you to lose everything you value, you wouldn't be bothered?

Good thing that defamation has nothing to do with hurt feelings.

Jones has testified before that he's playing a character. I expect him to do so again and claim that all he said was covered under parody and play-acting.

He's a guy that makes videos on the internet that the collective wants to sensor.

He can make all the video's he want.

But if his for profit lies are proven in a court of law to be the direct cause of quantifiable damages, he will be on the hook for those damages.

(And the only people who want to sensor him are the highway patrol. . .:dual:)

He is no different than the guy that made the video Hillary Clinton blamed Benghazi on. If the collective could put Alex Jones in jail they would, along with anyone else they don't like.

I have to agree. Jones is an ******* and a moron but he is entitled to his freedom of speech and I can't imagine the depthless agony of those parents being "pushed beyond bearability" because of him.

Our society would be far better off if defamation was addressed via old school duels than lawsuits, i.e., the edge in a modern lawsuit goes to the high powered attorney. In the past the use of dueling pistols and the associate code duello evened things up to the point that there was certainly some risk in either defaming a person or making a false charge of defamation. Now there is neither risk nor a demonstration of honor in hiring a shyster to sue someone.

    Jones responds.
There has never been a satisfactory explanation for the chase of men into the woods behind the school, which took place long after the shooting as you can see by the shed door being open after the cops had already searched it.

In this close up you can see some guy sneaking around in the trees. Who the F is he and why has law enforcement never addressed this?
