Non, Julian Assange not free, I actually read about this, the answer is, Julian Assange back in Belmarsh, a famous enough prison, to suggest that he's still in prison in the UK.
I think he might get sectioned? IDK, his mental health has been cited as well as a suicide fear which blocked his extradition to the US. He's only going to make bail if he can prove he's not going to run out on it, a thing is legal team are now in the process of trying to prove.

And soon... he will be fit and well again. Defiant hero to the Left, someone even the Chinese, Iranians and Russians will respect.

ps what happened to the two rape cases against him?

England is interesting re their courts and how they assess bias. With attempts to destroy people by saying they are antisemetic because of their views on Israel, they come out strongly that given we are a Democracy people have the right of their political view - but in this court they even forget the need for a Democracy to have a free press. Unfortunately with England having left the EU and its human rights (which were originally written by them) we can expect them to be moving to the extreme right.

Of course this demand was brought from Trump and in all but practice supported by the Democrats because he dared warn the world about the dangers of electing Hilary. US and England making the sorts of changes one would expect when moving away from claiming to be a Democracy into Authoritarian States.

Obama was aware of this being an attack on Democracy and that I hear is why he did not do it. I am not sure if it was because he did not want to for that reason or because he believed he could not get away with it. It is fascinating how easy it is to get the wc to vote for what is not in their interest. In this the UK Public and been given virtually no information so no possibility of coming to an informed opinion. The Daily Fail today while admitting that this was a political trial of which he was innocent, nonetheless did a character assination illustrating that they have not even bothered to keep up with the story themselves.

Now we'll be stuck with Julian Assange, the house guest from hell, writes RICHARD PENDLEBURY | Daily Mail Online

The law in the UK is that a person cannot be extradicted for political reasons. That this trial even took place illustrates that the UK is no longer even following its own laws.

I wouldn't pay attention to anything to John Pilger says. He is a Marxist of the Maoist and
North Vietnamese Communist Party style. He claims that journalism is a source of great
power - he meant it as an accusation against 'Capitalist' journalists, but it reveals his own
    bias and intentions.

You can tease out the anti-Semite from the anti Israel. The definition of Antisemitism, the one
the UK Labor Party now ascribes to, says little about disapproving of Israel.

However, if you denounce Israel for its 'treatment' of Palestinians, and don't equally denounce
China for holding a million Muslims in concentration camps - then there's the suspicion that you
are not really concerned for Muslims, but concerned about the world's only Jewish state.

With stress on the word "should".

I don't think there is any doubt about it. The U.S. (and the west in general) could always fall back on being "democratic" while the USSR (particularly Stalin and his legacy) dragged on far behind. But now it's free-range treachery from Washington (and its NATO minions) to run amok and put anyone to the sword with impunity. I don't want to speak too soon but the U.S. and Russia are slowing changing "good-guy bad-guy" roles. Who saw this coming? Maybe we should have taken America's dirty tricks in Cuba, Vietnam, Iran, Chile, etc. more seriously but that was all during the Soviet era and I guess we considered ourselves lucky to be in the west and were blind to the danger looming.

Yeah, "suicide" fear. Like Jeffrey Epstein. Assange knows too many ugly facts about some very wealthy and powerful people.

Indeed suicide can go two ways. Was it suicide with Epstein?

I realize that I am relying too much on my romantic view of the world but I do wonder if the UK (now "independent" of the EU) is testing its wings by giving the EU and the U.S. the finger .... just to see what it feels like?

I'd think you were being very optimistic. This never needed to go to court because it clearly is political. ;)

Epstein committed "suicide" in the same way that Seth Rich's murder was "random".

Yes, if I worked in American intelligence 1941 or I knew someone who worked there,
I wouldn't hesitate to publish American secrets to the Japanese. I would be there fighting
racism, Capitalism, white male imperialist supremacy and the like. And if allied servicemen
died as a result I would condemn the fake news. I would want to be like Pilger, Assange,
Albert Wiliams, Walter Duranty, Catherine Breshkovsky, Anna Strong, Ruth Kennell and
so on - sympathizers of anyone who hated Western society as much as they did.

All true and I hope you don't think I was giving Assange a pass despite "guilt". I only mean that the UK has had its lips embedded into Washington's buttocks all of this time and that perhaps they now can see their way clear to doing the right thing. "Optimistic", I may very well be.

I've never heard of a "random suicide" before". Hmmmmm, an interesting concept.

    Liberty dies to thunderous applause.

If he were your son or brother you would be saying there is not nearly enough hype over him.

Unfortunately England is likely to be even more entrenched with the US, still trying to pretend it rules the world. I was hearing the Chinese were firing warning shots at the US where they are near or in its waters. Looking a bit further I noticed we were there as usual beside them showing off our new landing craft. ;)

It is hard to win a rape case when both women say they consented and sent messages boasting of having sex with him.
