    The race needs to be down to 5 people by this point, too many overlapping narratives.
    She was only a distraction anyway, called months ago.

    Another one bites the dust.

    Harris had a similar problem to Hillary's, in that she's just not likeable. I don't like to rate political candidates on likeability, but many voters do.

    I saw her problem as worse than that ... when a woman of color can't get but a tiny fraction of support from black voters, when that large and important voting block prefers an old white man like Biden, there's a fundamental flaw. It seems to me that black voters could not get past the fact that she used to incarcerate them daily as a prosecutor. We can't escape our past.

    I hope her supporters find a more worthy candidate.

    The pool of candidates won't winnow down that much until at least after Iowa and New Hampshire, and probably not until after South Carolina, since that primary is the first real indication of where the black vote is going.

    I think she should run as Republican next time around. Republicans seem to be a little more supportive of prosecution of drug crime. I think for her that was the killing blow.

    SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — California Gov. Gavin Newsom will travel to Iowa to campaign for Sen. Kamala Harris as she tries to rebound amid a critical stretch in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.

    Newsom will visit the first voting state Dec. 14-15 on behalf of Harris, his home-state senator and longtime friend and political ally. His visit will come as Harris tries to claw back from single digits in the polls and defy the narrative that her campaign is collapsing ahead of the Feb. 3 caucuses.

    Yes my post was nasty but it fits with the nastiness of Kampala Harris as she went after Bedin like a banshee at one of the debates. She deserves what she sows.

    Everybody except the Top 4 (Biden/Warren/Sander/Pete) should drop out.

    And, after Super Tuesday they should trim the field even further.

    As expected, the odds were against her, but now she does have some name recognition. I expect a number of others to drop out in the next 2-3 months.
