Really? Then why did he say nothing or bring any attention to the fact he was doing it for three weeks before some reporter happened to see him and then ask him about it?

Since the courts are all under the control of Republican judges, he would not have gotten a cent if there was no merit to his claims. Obviously he was paid because he had spoken the truth. The NFL got off easy but it's no surprise in this day and age of right wing political correctness.

    Naw.

The NFL just didn't want the hassle.

    Sometimes the extortionist wins.

    Huh?

He didn't bring attention to the fact that he was doing something that millions of people saw him do?

That may be true, though it's saying very little.

And the Skins looked at him, but among other things, his bizarre GF scuttled any deal for him.

Why did it take three games for anyone to notice?

"This tweet means that plenty of people saw Kaepernick out of uniform, sitting down during the anthem. There’s no way 50,000 people completely missed it. They all saw this and did not care. There was not a single story about a 49ers player out of uniform sitting on the bench during the anthem. This only became a story when Kaepernick was in uniform and therefore, a lightning rod for controversy.

Kaepernick has his opinions about anthem and he is within his rights to stand or not stand as the NFL and the 49ers stated as much. Others have their opinions about anthem and Kaepernick’s choices and that’s just fine too. However, if you’re suddenly outraged about something you didn’t even realize was going on for several weeks before you noticed it, maybe you’re outraged at the wrong thing."

The only reason that whole thing went on as long as it did was because Trump used them to rile up his supporters.
