    The man who communicated with legions of rock fans through a circus-like stageshow—featuring massive pyrotechnics displays, scantily clad women, a dwarf and gibberish lyrics like “Bawitdaba da bang da bang diggy diggy diggy”—will now be running for political office.

    Yes, you read that right. Multiplatinum-selling musician and longtime Michiganian Kid Rock says he plans to run for U.S. Senate in 2018, and has launched a campaign hub to prove it. He confirmed its authenticity in a tweet:

    The website simply reads “Are You Scared?” It features a horizontal image of the artist wearing a fedora and shades, opposite what appears to be a taxidermied deer.

    The site also features a number of campaign slogans like “You Never Met a Politician Quite Like Me,” “In Rock We Trust,” “Pimp the Nation,” “Party to the People,” and “Welcome to the Party.”

    Three months ago, Rock was pictured along with Sarah Palin and Ted Nugent, at a meet-and-greet in the White House, where the trio met with President Trump in the Oval Office.....snip~

    So what do you think, Can Kid Rock win the Senator seat in Michigan? One thing is for certain should he run for the seat. He won't back down from any Democrat and they better think twice about bringing any disrespect. What say ye?

    Whoever the GOP puts up against Stabenow is going to be a Sacrificial Lamb.

    So why not have fun with it?

    Kid Rock amps up Senate tease with expletives.....

    Michigan rock star Kid Rock on Thursday tried to amp up speculation he could run for U.S. Senate – or at least release new music – as he blasted media reporting and skepticism on his Wednesday tease.

    The Clarkston resident and Romeo native again did not make clear whether he plans to run for the GOP nomination for Senate in Michigan. But he said in a blog post that “like politicians write books during their campaigns, I’m planning on putting out music during mine.”

    The Republican rebel, real name Bob Ritchie, also responded to comments from incumbent U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow, a Lansing area Democrat and pianist. Asked about his possible run Tuesday, Stabenow said they both love music and conceded he’s better at guitar but said she’ll continue doing what she does best, which is “fighting for Michigan.”

    Rock agreed they share a love of music – but probably not the same kind, he wrote.

    “I concede she is better at playing politics than I am so I'll keep doing what I do best, which is being a voice for tax paying, hardworking AMERICANS and letting politicians like her know that We the People are sick and tired of their bull----!” he said......snip~

    I don't have a vote in Michigan, so it's rather irrelevant for me, but I would probably vote for Kid Rock over a career politician! Lol!

    Like I said earlier, the GOP MI Senatorial nominee is a SURE LOSER.

    At least Big Bob would make an otherwise mundane race entertaining.
