    That was the intention of Bush's operation Quarterback where there was actual tracking of the weapons. The guns were sold with the full tracking and knowledge of the gun stores. Obama tried to turn that around and use it as a way to gain support for gun control in the US. It was a horrible failure and as I stated there are plenty of bpooks written by first party gun store owners and BATF agents.

    1) The confederate flag is not racist.

    2) Robert C. Byrd was a former KKK member and a Democratic Senator until he died in 2010.

    3) How do you know he was giving a Hitler Salute? There's a black women Trump supporter standing right next to him. A photo is a snapshot in time and doesn't tell the full story like this one...

    Which protesting and rioting in America are you referring to? Those that occurred in the 18th century, 19th century, 20th century or 21st century?
    We’ve had a very long history of protesting and rioting in this country. So I’m not sure which America you’re referring to when you say ‘the America that did not have idiots protesting and rioting.’

    The confederate flag came before the KKK. The confederate flag stands for states rights. Just because the KKK uses it doesn't mean the confederate flag is racist.

    The KKK also flies the American flag in their marches. Are you also going to tell me that the American flag racist?????

    The 1950's were pretty cool. Even burger flippers and ditch diggers could purchase a house and call it home.

    No free stuff (welfare) in America during the 1950's all you needed was to take personal responsibility in your life and break a sweat and you were part of the middle class.

    While all that is true (and still is, despite what some would have us believe), there were some terrible things going on in regards to social justice. Or rather, lack of it. Husbands could still rape wives with impunity, and people of colour were oppressed, etc etc etc. All of that needed changing, desperately. We needed the 1960's to do that. And it did, to great effect by the end of the century. The only outstanding First World issue not yet sorted was Gay Marriage. When that was sorted, we had about 3 and a half minutes of peace and genuine equality, before the originators of social change realised they were no longer relevant or useful, and started making stuff up and/or raking over the coals of old fires, trying to reignite them.

    Did you ever visit Lennox Ave in Harlem or Central Ave in South L.A. during the 1950's ?

    Very vibrant black communities back in the day, safe at night and all of the black owned business serving their community.

    The blacks burned down their own neighborhoods during the 1960's.
