https://freebeacon.com/latest-news/...ix-figures-after-losing-first-amendment-case/ Excellent. LA found to have infringed on the NRA's 1A rights. New York take note. Thoughts?
Another one, as of 2014 the City of Chicago had been made to pay the NRA $1,500,000. https://www.nrailafrontlines.com/city_of_chicago_ordered_to_pay_nra_s_legal_fees_again
After further review, I think it should be the contractors that should have sued. Did the NRA sue on their behalf?
The NRA has the deeper legal pockets and expertise, so it made sense how it unfolded. "Neither Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti (D.) nor councilmember Mitch O'Farrell (D.), who sponsored the ordinance, responded to requests for comment."
I probably should have been more clear but the ordinance prevented contractors from being awarded contracts if they support the NRA. Shouldn't the contractors have sued?
Being LA, it was probably a handful of NRA liking contractors, I doubt they could pay for this action.
