Large churches in democratic nations should print their own currencies.

Well the churches could start by following their own teachings and selling all their vast property holdings to help the poor. But we are not holding our breaths.

If the churches were to maximize their ability to save lives and feed hungry people......... and hire homeless people to become actors playing the role of homeless people.... and hire victims of the sex industry to become actors playing the role of themselves...... and to speak openly about their life and situation then........ with all that extra land on the market....... you would tend to think that the value of real estate would decrease but...........

When I went to church my church did have it's own currency. They were called Bible Bucks, and they were worth money at the store. I found it much harder to get a bible buck than to get a regular buck... Not sure why.

I believe that it should become rather easy to earn Bible Bucks.... if churches could be broken out of the mentality of poverty......

that will serve as a prop in a number of proposed semi-reality science fiction film projects.

No nation or anybody should be able to print money. All money should be coins, and the value therein, such as gold, silver, copper, or what have you. This would stop governments from spending what they don't have, reduce government agencies, they couldn't just print money out of thin air, more power to the people, so much greatness would come out of it. Paper with ink has no value, other than the sheer thought of people thinking it does. A gold coin has the value therein, and requires not, to be backed by anything.

I have enormous difficulty seeing how the productive capability of America should be at all limited.....
by how much gold or silver in America?

Our productive capability.... is astonishing.... but the supply of gold is limited.

Gold can be used for numerous things, such as electricity. It is very rare compared to other metals. It is what currencies are usually backed by. Gold has always been the number one item for wealth, all throughout man's history. Would you rather have paper with ink, or gold coins/bars. I do understand your point, it is humans that make anything valuable. But we have always had money/currency, thus gold is number one in that area. Plus, even if it was not used for currency, look at all the things that can be done with it. Paper, I guess you could make a fire, or wipe your ()()().

Lol paper has many uses. It probably has more than gold. The only attribute of gold that makes it unique is that nobody can duplicate it... yet. And that's not even really true. Gold doesn't have a finite supply. If suddenly it was discovered that China had billions of pounds of gold just sitting in mines, then the value of our gold back currency would hypothetically go to near zero. What you really want is fiat currency that has a set intrinsic value. Additionally, you don't want the banks to be able to lend on margin. When a bank lends money it only needs to have a certain percentage of that money to be able to lend the money. This basically creates money out of thin air. So what you really want is a set amount of money with no way of creating more money, right?

 

Do you have any idea how ignorant your being. Nations of this world confiscated the gold and precious metals form their people, and gave them paper with their faces on it. They control the fake money, and hold the real money. You think nations don't go after gold and precious metals. I'm not calling you ignorant, but your sure acting that way. Gold is and always will be the wealthiest item. What do you think the market is based off of? Again, don't be ignorant just to argue.
