Don't know and don't care. Feel sorry for the bleed silver and black fans but Oakland Coliseum is a dump and the city of Oakland isn't much better.
Having all your players live there may have a darwinistic effect we're only the best players who want to play survive.
I always preferred Oakland, but Las Vegas is a heckuva town to run a football team in. I won't be surprised if the Raiders don't become the next Dynasty. And, I doubt things will be any different than they will be for any other team. People with a lot of money can do whatever they want anyway. Geography is just a minor inconvenience to them. You guys are being too negative.
The whole damned NFL has become a 'dump'... a tedious, tiresome, stop-and-then-start and-then-stop 'ghetto-brawl', much like NBA basketball is. And, honestly, I've never cared for Las Vegas, either. The corporation I worked for for years insisted on having all of us managers go out there and waste time in 'meetings' that rarely ever produced anything but empty wallets, hangovers, and 'exchanges of bodily fluids'. Las Vegas -- a great place for Americans who haven't already lost everything to go and accelerate the process. But, be of good cheer, sports fans! Only about two months to go now until NHL Hockey Pre-season begins! And, I must admit, the Las Vegas Golden Knights are an excellent hockey team, although it's hard to keep the ice from slowly melting in their arena. I represented Anthony Washington when he played football for the Washington Redskins and he managed to have plenty of party girls and I do not believe he got into trouble. I was thinking that though I have driven one Ferrari and one Lamborghini, the only Porsche I have been was driven by Anthony when he gave me a ride in his new car.
I once bled Silver and Black prior to the Raiders moving to Los Angeles. I came to despise Al Davis. I have not purchased a Raiders season ticket since they left for Los Angeles. I was more upset at Al Davis than mad at the players. They revolve anyway. Why do you call the Coliseum a dump? It was not built by us to be a hotel. It is to accommodate spectators and provide toilets and refreshments to them. When it was constructed by me and my crew, it was built to be nice. Did the players ruin the locker rooms?
There will be the players that buddy up and live in apartments and buy homes where they were raised. Some will buy homes there but too many probably will not take good care of the home. I saw how Anthony Washington run down his very nice home once i sold it to him. I also sold it for him. These are young males and will be hunted by women. Even if they are not out purely for sex, it will come their way. Women have a habit of seeking fame or power or success. Anthony used to cart around white women in his Porsche but the woman he married is black.
