You do know what this country was like before liberalism, right? Y'know that scene in Snowpiercer, where the kid replaces a worn-out train-engine part? That kid had it easy.

They want drugs regulated and taxed.
They want the internet regulated for political speech and net neutrality
They want a million laws regarding marriage and have them. Marriage is so regulated it has it's own court system in every state. State certified marriages are regulated. Non state certified marriages are not.
They want religion taxed and sued if present in public.
They want to regulate what you can eat.
Swing and a miss on all. I can quote a few hundred pages of laws on that if needed.

The taxman takes your money. Share the name of the rich person holding you back from eating.

Richest in the world, fastest growing... Is that right? Lower crime, poverty declined faster and generational poverty wasn't a thing and literacy rates were higher. If liberalism is so great why did poverty decline faster in the five years before the war on poverty then in the 50 since? What is the name of the slum fixed by liberalism? You spent your 15 trillion. I want a name.

If you are claiming that the politics of Chicago is somehow representative of the Democratic Party on the national level then you are making a huge mistake. Chicago has been a political mess from the beginning. The problems started decades ago when minorities were flocking there for the work. If you think Chicago is bad now, read some history about how it used to be in the 1800s especially during the era of the first Worlds Fair. I agree with you that your city is a den of corruption and ineptitude. What that has to do with party politics is beyond me. In reality, the issues have always been about money versus labor with the parties moving back and forth between supporting one or the other. The last 100 years or so have seen the Democratic Party support labor or the people more than capital or the rich. It has been a long, long time since the Republican Party had a Teddy Roosevelt in charge.

Slums were a lot worse before LBJ. Remember that Nixon rolled back a lot of those programs too. Then we got Ronnie who hated government so bad he ran for office continuously for 30 years just so he could run it into the ground. He succeeded.

Nixon was a leftist economically and sucked. Reagan saw the first closure of the income gap between blacks and whites and saw the unemployment level of blacks fall and median incomes rose. Labor participation also rose. If that is falling apart no wonder you love Obama. You are a moron.

You support racist policies today and a party that supports them. That makes you a racist. You would kick a little girl out of school if her skin matched to many of her peers. That is your people. Also I cited a study by the Democratic Party to you before that shows your gun ownership also makes you a racist. Got you both ways oh "grand cyclops of the people of the color against those born with white privileged skin and the sins of their ancestors".long title, but it fits.

So you have one side that wants people shot, killed, imprisoned, impoverished and ostracized for drug use, and another side that wants it taxed and accurately labeled, and you're deciding that the taxing/labeling side is the heavy hand? You have no grasp on reality.

No, that's you guys, the argument is just spun backwards on FOX to confuse people like you. Net neutrality isn't even political, it's about making sure that everyone gets equal bandwidth so that ... how can I put this in terms you'll understand ... okay, it's so that if Obama wants to silence political dissent, he can't just buy up internet bandwidth and shove out anybody that disagrees with him.

Totally you guys, again. DOMA is heavy-handed regulation. Liberals are divided on whether or not marriage should be recognized by the state at all in the first place. If the state is going to recognize some marriages, it shouldn't practice religious discrimination. Priests and churches want to be able to perform marriages and have them recognized and you guys are the ones desperately trying to regulate that possibility away.

Again, since the default is that everyone is taxed, the exemption for religion is the regulation, and you're the one insisting on regulation.

No, they want to regulate accuracy on labels, not what you can eat. You want to eat chemical clone food, that's your choice, but the food industry shouldn't be allowed to put false information on the label and they have to accurately state what they're selling you. You guys would probably make vegetarianism illegal if you could.

I am forced to accept that you are just honestly unable to understand.

AH, you're looking at the laws that had to be put in place to keep people like you from infringing on other people rights and calling it "regulation".

Kinda got it backwards, which is IIRC what I said originally.

The challenge isn't that you can name one area that the GOP wants regulated, it is that you can't name one the left does not want regulated. Getting high and strung out on welfare is awesome, granted. But it isn't everything in life.

    - - - Updated - - -

Be specific so I can trash your argument. You need government marriage to protect you from what? You need to regulate the internet speeds people can purchase why? Etc..

Why would I do that when your side call us that publicly on less? You dodge all questions, so I will assume the answers. You would kick a white girl's application to the curb if you had too many of her color skins accepted already wouldn't you? Don't you think that is just?

Also, your party says you are a racist. I linked that study they conducted. It proves it.

I was. all those things you listed are to protect freedom from people like you, who would legislate it away if unchecked. And I'm still waiting for you to quote anything at all I ever said that can be construed as racist.

Nonsense. You support racial discrimination and are a hardcore racist that does not value white skin equally with skins of other races. I don't care that you are one of the smart racists that keep their mouth shut about it. I have all I need from your constant silence and dodging on the issue.

The rest is just some nonsense, we need regulatory protection from buying faster Internet connections? We need a marriage license because otherwise we would be exposed to what? But let's focus on your desire to pick and choose the merit of a person based on their skin color. By the way I overspoke when I said you are OK with leaving anal sex unregulated, you are still for affirmative consent before any sex so that also doesn't work.

here we have the perfect example of how the modern american liberal seeks to regulate even the very meaning of the word "regulate". the reality is that regulation is something that everyone wants. our prohibitions against killing, theft and the like are regulations of our actions within society and we couldn't get along without them. these laws are how we view the normal world and are the very backbone of our society. modern liberalism has become about regulating how we view the normal world. you want to be gay? the conservative says fine, be gay. just don't expect me to consider it "normal". gay sex is, after all, a deviation in both form and function. it is not normal, but go ahead and do it. the liberal demands not only the right to engage in such behavior, something only a handful of people are dead set against, but that we all agree with them that this is "normal" behavior. you want an abortion? well, that's another matter. we already have a prohibition against killing, but the liberal would once again have us regulate our reality. he would have us believe that abortion is not killing anything that matters, so our existing prohibition is not relevant. this is not a matter of the freedom to live the way you want, but to kill in order to do so and to regulate the nation's ethos in order to enable you.

of course there is always the caveat that all the modern liberal wants to regulate is big business, but this is the most intrusive regulation of all. business is how we survive. we have grown past subsistence level existence and now engage in business to provide for our needs and desires, so this infatuation with regulating business is essentially regulating our survival. by demanding that they decide on the definition of "big" business (another example of regulation the very meanings of reality), they can regulate the lives of anyone they choose. they need not outlaw the actions they dislike, regulation is not a matter of outlawing anything. regulation is about control and they need only control those things they wish to obliterate, things like success and individualism.

So you have no proof what so ever. You are just operating on the stereotype that Rush and his ilk have pushed on you.

No. They want to regulate everyone and everything. And if they wanted to regulate big business, why did/does Obama throw so much money at Wall Street? Why did he take their money for his campaigns?

Dodge again. Would it kill you to say "I am not one of those racists, I just support them."? Why does the thought of too many whites or yellows enrage you so much?

The problem with your statement is that by and large conservatives do not say "if you want to be gay fine, be gay". They are trying to regulate it out of existence.

As far as business regulations are concerned, without them the big businesses will own us all, destroy the environment, and be the only haves in a sea of have nots.

How is Starbucks going to own you in the way government does?

No, that isn't true. Conservatives are not trying to legislate being gay away, that is a lie. You and your ilk on the other hand are trying to legislate the right amount of skin colors at a particular institution, that is because you are a racist and have hatred in your heart against people you think should be punished for their white skin and the things members of their race did. 3 generations paying for the sins of their fathers at this point, even North Korea limits punishment at this point. Your side is demanding more.
