A brief explanation then. Islam is the religious/political movement and Muslims are its followers. To put it another way Islam is a backward belief system originating among an ignorant people known for their brutality and forced upon its victims we call "Muslims". Of course many of these brainwashed 'Muslims' are committing terrorism around the world today.

I fail to see how a religious political movement is inherently backwards. That German president, Merkel,.. she is the head of a massive religious/political party. The biggest EU political group is also one a specifically Christian party. Israel got a party who is specifically religiously orthodox Jewish. Your random US president thanks God, by default, in it's speeches. The queen of the UK, officially still head of state, is also the head of a church. So you know... you that ignorant that you did not know, and find it odd Muslims got it too? Good grieve... lol
