This is a flip-flop for Trump. Before he was elected, he dismissed the stock-market performance under Obama as “artificial” and “a bubble." Moreover, the U.S. rise in 2017 was not unique. When looking at the Standard & Poor’s 500-stock index, it’s clear U.S. stocks haven’t rallied as robustly as their foreign equivalents. Moreover, with each 1,000-level increase, the accomplishment gets increasing less impressive.

The issue is not attack so that only positive news regarding the President is broadcast. The issue is to have factual news broadcast about the President. For the most part, the left's liberal media partners don't follow that rule. It's a never ending spew of out of context misrepresentations, revelations from "unnamed sources", and in some cases, total fabrication.

What people need to grasp is that all of these outlets are simply businesses selling product. They don't have to be honest, and their motivations don't have to be honorable. The bigger the audience, the more they can charge for advertising. That's it. Nothing more.

If MSNBC, or WaPo can manipulate a story so that large numbers of people will view it, they will do so. Click Bait and Dog Whistles are the order of the day. Period.
