What makes these colleges 'liberal hell holes'? Do you consider all non-christian colleges to be 'liberal hell holes'?

The vast majority of state schools aren't bad. The problem schools have been problems for a long time but that list gets longer as the liberals get more deranged and emotional over Hillary's loss, even years later.

Nope, I believe all theories should be presented and let the chips fall where they may. One can be a student of science and have faith and conservative political leanings. I have studied many theologies as well as scientific theories, but I wasn't told what to think. I was taught to think and conclude for myself. You assert that because one draws a different conclusion from another, they are somehow inferior. How very liberal of you.

Take your pick. Regardless of your field of study, most universities require a certain number of liberal arts credits. I majored in history and eventually earned a MBA. Even in business school -- all the way back in the 80s -- you were expected to embrace political correctness and 'progressive' dogma. Your scholarship had better reflect a certain viewpoint. The bias was particularly apparent in any of the social sciences (like history), humanities, psychology, obviously womens' studies, gender studies, art school, art history, English, linguistics, etc.. And OMFG journalism! Whoah nellie!

Not nearly as much of a chance because those areas typically require a student to build on proficiency obtained and/or competency displayed at the prerequisite levels.

Anecdotal business of course. Seriously? You can't say the one and expect an answer on the other...

So, the Flying Spaghetti Monster should be taught as science?

Which schools are you referring to? And what makes them a 'problem' school?

The neo-marxists have taken over the social sciences, but so far not the natural sciences, although they are working on those too. So, yes, one can still get an education without the indoctrination, just stay away from the humanities.

There are several categories, the Ivory Tower elites, like Harvard, the traditional liberal trash holes like Berkeley or Madison, then a slew of private schools that recently become more vocal. No doubt every region of the country knows of 'that' school around them, but nobody is ever surprised by some form of evil liberalism coming out of any number of California schools...

Right, but what makes them a problem? What is 'evil' liberalism?

Better to teach the universe was created by the magic of something coming from nothing.

"Class, once upon a time there was nothing at all. No gravity. No light. No energy. No heat. No matter. Absolutely nothing. Then POOF! MAGIC HAPPENED. Everything just magically appeared. That's what science is: magic. Then all that magical stuff evolved to more stuff."

That is the definition of true science: inexplicable magic. Only a science denier would dispute that magic suddenly appeared from nothing and then magic turn nothing into something. This magic is called "evolution" and "the big bang." The moment the universe magically appeared out of nothing.

Then the teacher can explain: "Over 99% of all people who ever lived, and most people now, don't believe in the science of magic. They believe some power or force made the universe - and that's stupid. Only magic no one can ever understand can create a universe. Magic is like that. To deny magic is called being a science denier. So remember, if you ever want anything like a car or an Ipod, don't bother to see if anyone makes those. You can get everything by the science of magic. There is no car and science says POOF - it can just magically appear for you."

I supposed the invisible man in the sky creating the universe is a good explanation.

All liberalism that is associated with Marxism which is virtually all of it now, is evil. It was different before the progs usurped the Democrat party. Back in those days Democrats were still sensible, now they are all tainted by Marxism and can't be trusted. Today's liberal progs are globalists who despise concepts like national security and particularly border security. Moderates and non-Marxists that lean left need to take back their party, or actually start a new one that isn't filled with a history of hatred and violence...

So again, what makes these colleges you mentioned such a problem? Do you have actual examples of what they are doing that is causing such problems?

The problem is that many of these places were once reputable, but now are so tainted with liberalism that doesn't actually reflect any educational value in the workplace, unless you are to become a thief or other scoundrel. Many of these institutions are buoyed up by donations from alumni who do not see the decline and are often blinded by nostalgia...

    "Liberalism"

What does that stand for to you?

    :EDIT:

If you don't answer, I guess you've just been brainwashed with a single word.

That's fine as long as it's in the appropriate forum. For example, teaching creationism in a biology class is not an effective use of time considering the context in which the students are being prepared for their respective career fields.

It was once, not so much now. Personally I wouldn't trust a Harvard lawyer to fix a traffic ticket these days, but that's me. You can overpay for failure if you choose.
