Difference is that I have nothing whatever to gain by fooling you. Hold that thought?

No, the former is mechanics?

    Mechanics/engineering is just applied physics.

Whichever way you dress it up, cars are cars, and space ships are space ships.

Well, of course. Cars cannot go into space and spacecraft cannot drive on the Interstate. However, the physics are the same for both. The laws of thermodynamics are the same as is the law of gravity.

No, you're confusing everything with the science of vehicle dynamics.

The laws of the universe cannot be avoided no matter your level of ignorance.

My take on this is different. He's obviously a troll, and expert at winding people up. But the link he provided was interesting, and in that way he's kind of shafted himself.

Well there y'go - some people are 'ignorant' and others think they know everything just because they've read it somewhere.

Look, I know what I've said has forced self-doubt upon you, but there's no need to be facetious??

Well, I'm not a physicist so I'd say I'm ignorant. I know a fair amount in general but I know none of the math and I've never been around a collider. My knowledge of field theory and particles is pretty basic. So I'm ignorant. But I understand enough to know quarks, fermions, bosons, and the like. You know how matter is put together and how it has mass. How we measure mass as energy. You know......science stuff.

As someone else said, these is part of the field of the electroweak force or interaction and is why we can type on our computers and send instant posts throughout the internet. You know turn on the lights, microwave, electric razor, TV, and game system; not to mention run your car up and down the road using electric energy to fire cylinders of air/gas mixture as well as turn the lights on at nite, see the displays, watch temp it is outside and all that stuff.

Of course maybe you and the rest of us are better off with you on a bicycle.

I doubt you're nearly as ignorant as you try to be with your troll schtick but you are terribly annoying to say the least. Grow up and stop pestering the adults in the room.

Look, I can quite understand that you're feeling a bit sheepish now that I've proved to you the level of your gullibility, but don't shoot the poor bloody messenger, Squire?? Bloody hell, I was only trying to help! Some impressive words in your post though, so reading Science Today obviously does have its usefulness.
