Liberals, how did the rich become rich?

I wanna know your theory. Since none of you agree (at least in this forum) with the one that I proposed before which I thought makes the most sense.

.....how did the rich become rich?

Well, most were born rich.

Some clawed their up to wealth through abandoning ethics and morality, lots of manipulation, luck, ruthlessness.

Some were excellent actors, artists, singers, musicians, celebrities....or played games well(sports gods)

Some were exceptionally intelligent and invented things that made them rich.

Some performed a miracle and invested well in the stock market without losing their shirts.

Some became politicians.

Some started a religion or got moved to prominent church positions.

Some preach religion on TV and stupid suckers make them rich.

Most used tax loopholes that aren't available to middle class Americans.

Yeah some did steal it, Like Al Capone and Carlo Gambino and many of those mobsters children were born into it, like the Walton kids inherited a dont have to do a damn thing existence from daddy sam. The list is endless of 2nd and third gen money that people were born into rich. Donald Trump had a multi million dollar daddy.
This lala land ideal that all the rich made it by starting in car washs and growing up to buy their own car wash and then buying two and turning it into a global car wash is pure bull(*)(*)(*)(*).
The dot com kids are not the norm. There are many that make it through hard work but the top 400 that own most of everything id bet most of them were born into it. Its a fallacy that everyone should be successful in this country and as far as opportunity some have alot more of a chance than others and thats just the way it is. Not everyone could be rich because then there wouldnt be any one to mow the richs lawn and scrub their toilet or work to make them richer.

Through honest work, long hours, extreme sacrifice, good sound business decisions and good morality in dealing with clients.

 

By exploiting and stealing from their employees.

 

I'm not a liberal, but surely everyone knows capitalists get rich by employing workers and extracting the surplus value of their work?

According to you EVERY member of the upper 2% was born in dire poverty and through hard labor in the fields and mines, giving up sleep and basic neccessities, worked their way through college and then through more "honest" hard work, generosity toward all others, high ethics and good morals made their well earned billions........

Easy, son....the OP, as well as your post, mentioned "rich"...which your own Boy King defines as low as making $125K a year.

Additionally, between 80 and 86% of America's "millionaires" are self-made....which is in direct conflict with your "most were born rich" comment I responded to.

 

The rich are rich through exploiting those weaker than them for financial gain.

 

I'm curious. Why weren't the Kennedy's mentioned here? A bunch of illegal rumrunners and no one in USA society has called upon their legislators to confiscate their illegal wealth?

 

If you are making money you are exploiting someone and a myriad of other living things.
