Yes. 85% of US economic output is generated in blue metro areas, and this is true even inside red States like Texas where the wealth is generated in Houston, Dallas, Austin etc blue metro areas.

 

And were the 'wealth' of other, less desirable events occur also. Like crime and poverty.

Let those areas that 'output' more wealth, and problems, pay for them. Other areas will equalize on their own level.

I believe in equality for all Americans and believe the federal government must do some things that the states cannot — that said most items need to be returned to the states and that includes the ability to place common sense regulations on firearms. States should have to honor contracts from another state but should not have to issue said contracts.
