    I think it has always been that way. Philosophically I don't have a problem with allowing it, but as a practical matter, it would take forever to realize any savings because of the added expense of not only marketing the policies, but also in finding participating providers.

    And watch this will be tomorrows lead headline "Trump refuses to denounce white supremacy" and no mention will be made about how short of time the President was given to answer before Wallace "moved on" and closed the topic, that was no accident.

    Yes, I'm aware, as my post indicates. Do you understand why trying to split that hair / dispute the matter of your son's cocaine habit during a nationally-televised debate is f***ing TERRIBLE as a political decision? Biden, while technically accurate, shouldn't have disputed that point. It was a political miscalculation of significant proporortion. He should have moved on from the subject of his coke-head son ASAP.

    Conceptually maybe, but a friend who did medical coding said it was a PITA and you really had to know the quirks of all the different companies in order to get things through to actual payments in terms of getting them to approve certain procedures based on certain diagnosis.

    trump did himself no favors tonight. I doubt he converted a single undecided and lost some who were going to waste their vote on him. But he's a jackass so no surprises. This debate favored biden waaay more than trump.
