Pretty neat, but way too expensive.

I entertained the idea of converting a Dersksen building into a home, but then I met my girlfriend...

I love it.. but it wouldn't work for big city living.

Used ship containers with holes cut out for windows.
    Been done.

Too expensive! I lived in a studio apartment for $550 a month with utilities included that was bigger than that. Although I am also on the west coast.

Now I live in a two bedroom apartment with a patio for $800 a month (I do have to pay utilities as well now). It's so nice, just enough space for two people and my two cats and it's affordable. I love it.

I could never live in the city or in such a compact space for so much money. That's just ridiculous.

This is an interesting concept and a sad one.

I live in Israel, immigrants dont bear down on housing like it is in UK, but supply side of housing is doing well..and that has been noticeable.
