Those who have been living long enough without freedom have difficulty even realizing what freedoms they don't have. You do realize it's not normal for people in a society to go around stabbing each other with knives, don't you? Something is wrong. The fact that they had to ban knives in public places proves something is wrong. Only the brain dead would not realize that. Or people who have just been accustomed to something so long, they see that as a normal reality and have come to take it for granted. Even the Middle East doesn't need these type of laws. What does that say about London?
Just for the record, I oppose his arrest on principle. Though it's exceedingly difficult to imagine this individual was anything except up to no good. Is there any way they can deport them instead of jail them? Or is that just unrealistically wishful thinking?
So explain why you would be carrying that knife in the centre of Cardiff, presumably he needs it to wash his crack on it?
For a while in the 80's we got into the fashion they have of mass shootings in the US. However after Thomas Hamilton went wild with his massacre of primary school children in Dunblane we thought better of it and brought in very tough laws on owning guns. We unlike the US have not lost any more of our children in this way.
Yes, the only people who go around shooting other people in this madhouse of ours are criminals who ignore the law of the land; the upside is that they usually shoot other criminals, so they're doing society a favour when you think about it.
And another one yesterday? "A driver who was arrested after eleven teenagers were injured after 'being hit by a BMW' has been sent back to prison after being on recall, police have said. The 35-year-old was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent but has now returned to prison in relation to a different incident." So why was he out of prison then, and more to the point, who let him out, and will they be held accountable for these appalling consequences? And although he was in prison 'in relation to a different incident', will he be prosecuted for this one? Or will it be yet another case that the driver 'had mental problems'? Like someone who drives a car at speed into eleven human beings wouldn't have mental problems! https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/driver-arrested-after-eleven-teenagers-14558105
