Macron says France doesn't recognise Crimea annexation.

    Alaska was bought and paid for after the Russians begged the US to take it over.
    Russia first offered to sell Alaska to President Franklin Pierce because the Russians couldn't defend it from the British during the Crimean War.

    And now Macron doesn't want to recognize the Russian annexation of the Crimea, but I'm sure that he will keep the natural gas flowing into France through Russian pipelines.
    Pipelines that are pulling some of the natural gas out of the rich gas fields just off of the Crimean shore.
    Obama was very flexible in looking the other way when the Russians built a new pipeline into the Crimea. Just like he told Vlad that he would be after the 2012 election.

    Right, I don't, as you don't of mine, no you're not from guinea, you're probably in Germany, living the good life, off of Merkel's EU euros, at the same time vilifying the west, hypocrites. Back in Muscovy you wouldn't have same lifestyle like you do in the west.
    You'd still be chopping wood, and heating water over a wood stove depending where you're at.

    Macron needs to differentiate himself from the FN, which is ostensibly pro-Putin. So it was a wise thing to say as an establishment politician representing France. We have Le Pen who is speaking for Russia and that's enough.

    "How do you like the US?"

    The answer is always

    "love it"

    The last question is:

    "Would you ever go back home?"

    The answer is always:

    "Never".

    That goes for English, Japanese, Chinese, Italians...

    Well considering the tragic history between Russia and Ukraine, whether credible not, one would tend to side with the ukranian side. And I don't post all ukranian ones, I used to post links to SOFmag, which are up to date, and controversial.

    This is not a marriage agency to put the self-portraits here :-D As for living in Germany, I have never said anything bad about Germany. It is a nice country with a lot of culture and traditions compared to the US where everything parrallel-perpendicular and where for the most part the local people are not interested in anything apart for the prices of coca-cola in the nearest supermarket.
