    1. Making politics about race is wrong.
    2. Black people are bad.

    Only one of those can be true at any given time. Either guns should be controlled, or Black people aren't as important as Whites. Which is it to be?

    He obviously wasn't talking about victims; he was talking about the shooters. He didn't say they are shot by each other. Injecting race into a political argument after saying race has no place in politics shows he doesn't believe one of those things. QED.
