My bracket is currently at 74%. I truly thought Princeton was going to knock off Notre Dame. They almost did...but almost doesn't mean anything
Yeah. It is unreal Bill Self still has a job. The way KU choked against Oregon was one of the biggest chokes of all time. Bill Self is a loser. He wouldn't even have his only title if Memphis St. could shoot FTs. Self is a loser and Kansas is a disgrace. Yeah, that would be cool if UNC played South Carolina for the title. Of course, So. Carolina is a -6.5 dog vs The Zags. UNC is a -5 fave over Oregon, and if the Ducks pulled the upset and The Zags won, you could have an all PNW Final.
Yea that would at least make this crazy tournament even crazier. Since all the teams I had in brackets are toast, I'm rooting for the under dogs.
Gonzaga/Oregon would also be a classic matchup. Of all of the Final Four teams, N.Carolina would be my least favorite winner. Any of the other 3 schools would be a major Cinderella story.
NC is obviously a heavy favorite. They are the Goliath. And everybody loves an underdog, so a lot of people will be pulling against them.
An excellent half from Gonzaga considering they have the lead despite missing seven or eight point blank shots. If they start hitting those the game will be no contest. As it is they are controlling the boards also and N. Carolina has to take the apple out of their throats and Roy Williams needs to stop panicking on the sidelines. Gonzaga by six points.
Multii million dollar athletic factory beats little Jesuit college from Spokane. The Zags had a great season and with a few lucky breaks could have easily won. But they didn't so better luck next year and I'm anxious to see who comes onto the squad then to replace some big names.
It's not just sour grapes by me. Everyone has noticed. http://www.businessinsider.com/ncaa-tournament-championship-refereeing-officiating-bad-2017-4 The officiating was horrible and made all matters worse in what should have been college basketball's shining moment. And the whole tournament has been this way.
Zach Collins paid the price for the NCAA's foul calling fetish Monday evening but in a larger sense everyone who watched that game paid a price too by getting such a choppy and tedious viewing experience. I thought it was absurd.
