    Mexico is settling into anarchy and a major reason for it are the drug cartels.

    If there was no market for their goods, they wouldn't exist and present a threat to all Mexicans.

    Parents of missing Mexican students cling to hope
    Nov 14,`14 -- Maria Telumbre knows fire. She spends her days making tortillas over hot coals, and experience tells her a small goat takes at least four hours to cook. So she refuses to believe the government's explanation that gang thugs incinerated her son and 42 other missing college students in a giant pyre in less than a day, leaving almost nothing to identify the dead.

    Things are getting very nasty down there right now.

    They set fire to the door of the National Palace in Mexico City
    They've marched on the state buildings in Guerrero, setting fires and general getting nasty.
    Federales are being called out and one has to wonder how much further this is going to go.

    Mexicans are getting fed up with government corruption and the continued killing of civilians and children.

    Just how far is this going to go? {and how much is being back by the cartels in an effort to weaken the government?}

    Mexico is undergoing some severe unrest. The president is seeking constitution authority to do away with all local police forces to be replaced by state and federal.

    'Other disappeared' leave gaping holes in Mexico's fabric
    16 Sept.`15 — On the morning of her high school graduation, Berenice Navarijo Segura was delayed for a hair and makeup appointment by an explosion of gunfire in the center of town. Her mother was up before dawn preparing stewed goat and beans for the celebration, and didn't want her to risk going out. Her sister, who had made enough salsa for 60 guests, tried to hold back the spirited 19-year-old with questions: "Do you have your wallet? What about your phone?"

    Mexico is outraged over citizens killed in Egypt but ignores the dead at home
    Friday 18 September 2015 | The Mexican government has stood by as the country has seen more than 164,000 civilian deaths, 20,000 people go missing and over 70 journalists and media workers killed on its own turf since the drug war’s inception in 2006. But none of those deaths and disappearances made the protection of Mexican citizens a priority for the president. Apparently, it took the deaths of Mexican tourists in the Wahat region of Egypt’s western desert to do that.

    Sep 25,`15 -- Unlike the families of the 43 students who disappeared a year ago, Julio Cesar Mondragon's loved ones were left with a body to bury. But there is little comfort in that, because Mondragon's corpse bore witness to the horror of his final moments.
