Yet, you helped elect a supposedly accomplished businessman... if his 6 bankruptcies are absolved.

Why can't he balance the budget In such a time of prosperity?

It's all the Democrats' fault again.

    So predictable.

First, I didn't jump down your throat, I asked politely.
Second, MOST is because of the calendar, but that still leaves 6 billion. How did that happen?

It's been for years, do you think it will become one on MSNBC, CNN, the DNC, ABC, CBS, NBC, NYT, WaPo, et al?

What would you and the Democrats support he do? He has his cabinet working on a 10% budget cut plan over the next several years. Do you support that?

Convince me the Democrats are making better proposals to do it.

The dems didn’t co from congress or the white house for the past 2 years. Republicans did. What’s your excuse for them?

Tribalism is not a republican trait alone. Sure others are tribal. The willful ignorance or willingness to gloss over facts and apologize for one of their own is staggering though. People are blindly following Trump and will not acknowledge his actions or try to spin it to seem as though it is something it's not.

Of course we should have responded. We should not have invaded a country that have nothing to do with the attacks, however.

Why, we have always been here, we are just fiscal conservatives who were branded for a name for a short time.

    Nothing has changed.

We just got tired of the liberal hatred directed towards us.

We didn't invade Iraq because we thought they were involved in 9/11.

    That's why we invaded Afghanistan.

Iraq was a separate matter, yes spurred by 9/11, but not the reason.

We didn't want to get attacked again.

    Of course I do.

What is happening right now is a disaster.

For debt to be under control, a growth rate of at least 4.5% would be required.

Despite his tax cuts supposed to boost the economy, Trump delivered only 2.9% growth in 2018.

And we're going into a recession in 2021...

It's not with small cuts of 10% spending that we will succeed.

I'm not buying it. I don't see the outrage. I just see a bunch of folks shrugging their shoulders and quietly walking off because it is "their" guy doing it.

9/11 was used as an excuse to invade Iraq. Cheney and Rummy and co. knew they would have public sentiment for a little while so struck while the iron was hot. Are you one of those that still say the Iraq war was justified?

And what would be their motivation to make up a war?

    Probably never.

So your point is no one really cares and Fox and the Republicans only act like they do when it’s time to win elections? Basically manipulation of their base?

    What money?

They didn't receive any and the US lost money over it.

Beat me to it! Halliburton happens to get massive contracts in Iraq and Cheney just happened to be their CEO for years. Yeah that's just a coincidence...……...
