Looks like McCain is at it again. This time he's not alone. Rand Paul is also opposing the ACA Repeal Bill.

"I cannot in good conscience vote for the Graham-Cassidy proposal. I believe we could do better working together, Republicans and Democrats, and have not yet really tried," McCain said in a statement posted on his website.

I would like to see what they can come up with through bipartisan effort that also isn't rushed. There have to be ways to improve 0-care that all can agree to, and I think the onus is more on the Republicans than the Democrats to start negotiating and quit trying this silly wholesale repeal approach.

    Dear Arizona.

Please, remove your Senator John McCain from office.
By definition he is suffering "organic brain syndrome" via age and therapies.
Yes he served his country and State well but, it is time for John McCain to retire.
    Thank you for your consideration.

    Sincerely
    Moi :oldman:

A bipartisan Obamacare fix is going to include getting those Red states that refused to expand their Medicaid programs onboard with expanding their Medicaid!!! :D

Actually the gop has failed, for long before trump was in office they promised the people if they were given the power they would repeal it. Well, the truth has come out. Since this was a plan created at the Heritage Foundation as an option to hillarycare long ago, a mandated insurance, giving the insurance companies a huge gift, the GOP simply lied to the people, once again. Trump believed them obviously, that they would repeal it so it was easy to run on that. But since they never wanted to repeal it, and take away from insurance companies, they were put on a spot when they could repeal it. And this lying is one of the reasons trump was elected. People could not trust your ordinary GOPher and would not elect one of them for the oval office. His supporters see what is going on and perhaps they will vote down any GOPher who wants to return to DC in 19. I guess we will see? I would imagine if McCain runs again, his competition on the GOP side will win. The man is owned by the banks and insurance.

Of course, McCain is opposed to anything that he thinks might make our president or our country look good. I wish he would just retire. It's time.

How do you figure this is a Trump fail? Clearly Trump wants to fix our healthcare...there are currently 4 gop'ers preventing the single most fantastic failure called Obamacare from being dispatched and replaced with something better. From my chair this is a GOP failure caused by senators who wish to keep everything stagnant. We have heard for years that they wanted to repeal ACA then when given the chance they refuse. What BSers. I say work a deal with dems and let the GOP suffer their losses at the next election. Thats what they deserve. These idiots apparently havent received our message and still think their status quo crap is still the system. Its not. Trump already gave them a shot over the bow on the debt ceiling....they again didnt get the message. The only thing I despise more than the left is a RINO. Of course its gonna be awkward for the leftist trump bashers to comment on Trump working with dems. Aww..kwarrrd.

I don't feel bad for the republicans; they had 7 years to come up with a plan and they waited until trump was in office before trying to come up with their own plan. They are all incompetents.

Says the side that passed Obamacare by saying you have to pass it to see whats it in it. Lets see my premiums doubled I have less coverage, getting Drs appointment is getting to be nearly ridiculous....good job. I love you guys that think your educated...surprise education still doesnt fix dumb. Its not that you guys are wrong, its that you know so much about that which isnt so.
Please explain why you supported Obamacare without knowing what was in it...please use your highest educational superpowers...the ones that ruined healthcare in the first place.

totally different, dems released what they had and the cbo scored it, most republicans do not even know what is in this

she was asked midway through the process and when it goes through the real process amendments and such can change a bill and you can't know what will be in the final bill until it passes, democrats tried to get republican input and help, in fact that is why we did not get a public option like Obama wanted

"Obama, GOP's Snowe work on health care compromise"

    http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/09/02/health.care.compromise/

"The compromise plan would lack a government-run public health insurance option favored by Obama, but would leave the door open to adding that provision down the road under an idea proposed by Snowe, the sources said."

yes, conservatives tried to sabotage the bill, we know that, this was only a starting point, but it's way better then anything republicans have offered up so far

if it wasn't for the fact that the republican bill would hurt so many Americans I would wish they passed it so all future greed from ins companies would be all on them, ins companies raise rates, republicans fault... ect....

the only way we beat ins company greed is via a public option like Obama wanted, let the people decide

this was where we were at pre-ObamaCare under Bush

"Wal-Mart Memo Suggests Ways to Cut Employee Benefit Costs " 2005

    http://www.nytimes.com/2005/10/26/business/26walmart.ready.html?pagewanted=all

"Wal-Mart executives said the memo was part of an effort to rein in benefit costs, which to Wall Street's dismay have soared by 15 percent a year on average since 2002. Like much of corporate America, Wal-Mart has been squeezed by soaring health costs. The proposed plan, if approved, would save the company more than $1 billion a year by 2011."

"Ms. Chambers acknowledged that 46 percent of the children of Wal-Mart's 1.33 million United States employees were uninsured or on Medicaid."

except it wasnt repubs...it was dems who lied to us, they admitted it. Now Insurance costs are nearly triple what they used to be with less coverage. Obama should get back on TV and apologize to us. ACA was the biggest failure Ive ever seen.

He is the negotiator in chief

I don't think that is at all clear. What policies has he proposed or demanded be in the bill? He would accept any bill that would avoid failure.
    Dispatched, yes. Improved how?

    Like last time?

trump cant make mccain vote a certain way. obviously Mccain has an axe to grind and doesnt care if America has to suffer for it. This is squarely on the GOP not Trump. We clearly see who the stonewallers are now. Theyve been the problem all along.
