Medical Science baffled by Africa's low Covid-19 death rates.

    Medical scientists are baffled by the extremely low deaths rates so far being experienced throughout the African continents 1.3 Billion people. In an entire continent with far less doctors hospitals and medical support, with little to no testing the death rates from Covid-!9 are lower than anywhere else in the world. The death rates are far lower than any European country and lower than North and South America and Asia. Scientists had been predicting Africa would have the highest death rates in the world based on the high death numbers of blacks in the United States, reality thus far has proven just the opposite. they are guessing that it is linked to the younger age of most Africans and their healthier lifestyles and lack of obesity. So far South Africa with a death rate of 2.4% is the highest on the continent, with virtually all other countries under 2%. Another factor which may benefit Africans is much lower contact by average Africans with travelers from other parts of the world.

    ~ Africa and India use Hydroxychloroquine as prophylaxis . Not sure but Sweden may have started doing the same.

    Hydroxychloroquine was just rejected by another medical study as a viable treatment for Covid-19.

    Doctors are prescribing it. I know one person who felt it gave a positive turn .

    It is not recommended for Covid !9 by American doctors or the CDC.

    Well, doctors in Oklahoma can do what they think is best for their patients. It's used for a wide range of conditions, is inexpensive and doctors are privy to its track record.

    The studies on the use of hydroxychloroquine I have read all say that it elevates liver enzymes both with and without zinc and does little to nothing to reduce the effects of Covid.

    Hydrochloroquin was already in wide use in Africa as a treatment for malaria and they don't have politicians who need to prolong the out break for political purposes and government phds who have patents and investments related to rendesavir.

    You can live a long time by ignoring the CDC recommendations on anything. I knew many people who regretted getting a flu shot. Not just a few but many. Made-me-sicker stories got horrendous, something out of a Melville story hugging that porcelain whale.

    If you're that worried about COVID-19, then move there. The Lake Victoria area is beautiful and the Hutus versus the Tutsis will scarcely bother you much.

    South Africa's covid deaths are not only low they are also over reported....it's all hocus pocus... suddenly they have covid deaths and

    zero HIV deaths
    zero TB deaths
    zero flu deaths

    ~ China and North Korea are under reporting deaths. We only have estimates from hospital / mortuary records and leaked information.

    South Africa's murder rate is 59 per day, that's not including the HIV, TB, road deaths and hospital negligence, farm murders, gender based violence, flu, sewage drownings and other fatalities... Covid deaths are a vast improvement because the criminals were in lock down.... unfortunately 2.2 million people have now lost their jobs and now crime and murders are much higher.... (just thought i'd throw that in before you go... yay!!)

    This has been my experience as well. I know of ONE person that did NOT get sick after getting a flu shot. I knew two people that got it and died. Naysayers will claim that it was something else but I've been hurt by a vaccine (a different one) so I know it happens.

    So it looks like having access to quality healthcare makes Covid 19 worse....

    Anyone who lives in Africa better have a robust immune system.

    People being injured by vaccines is rare. And please note the last couple off flu vaccines have Been relatively ineffective. Since, historically those originate in Asia I tend to wonder if the chicoms have been messing about with that data as well.
