You gonna eliminate the tax based funding so that the tax payers who are paying for their own policy, and those of their freeloading neighbors can afford their high tax payment plus rising copays?

What I understand it you want to take one piece of how Europeans do things and try and do it in the US. It doesn't work that way. If you want people in the US to have European style health care then people in the US are going to have learn to live like those in Europe. Is that the idea, to have a European lifestyle in the United States? I don't want that.

Medicare for All Capitalism would cost about 20% of what we pay now so I see no problem at all in paying for it.

It is capitalism if prices are published, and people are shopping more and more with their own money for the best price and quality. Do you understand now?

We are not talking about living like Europeans, Canadians, South Koreans, Japanese, Taiwanese, Austrailians except in so far as getting the same quality health care for 30% of our price. Ask every American how they'd like to get a $7500 check every year! Now do you understand?

So I have to shop with my own money? I thought the "single payer" was Uncle Sam.
Where is the $2,460,000,000,000 going to come from to give each American $7500?

Reimbursement to providers is price fixed.
    Far from capitalism

So you just want to take the best parts of socialism and apply them in America?

You do realize most Europeans pay higher taxes then most Americans?

no, want to cut price of our socialist system by 75% by copying their more efficient socialist systems, and then cut it further by switching it to capitalism. Simple enough for you?

For a simple guy like me would you explain exactly where that $7,500 dollar savings is coming from. I mean that is $30,000 for a family of four. I guess I'm just to dumb to do that kind of math. Show me please.
You can't have it both ways! Sounds like having your cake and eating it too.
The OP is opinion, ideas and speculation.
    Proof?
    How will you implement it?
Explain how you will achieve "capitalistic price".

Price fix reimbursement, then remove constraints and watch everyone race to the bottom.

We spend $10,000 per head, others spend $2500. $7500 saving per head. 1+1=2. Want to pay off national debt?? Now you know how but you have to struggle to overcome your prejudices.

The published prices are on the Medicare end.
The providers don't have costs to publish.
