    Megyn apologized with tears in her eyes, and that wasn't enough, even thought what she said was true when she was a kid. Her real sin was only being 73% Leftist in her views, she didn't commit and go 100%, so she's a target and now they "got" her.

    Give it time. America's skin is getting thinner and thinner. BTW: one thing lost on all claims of white racism is how many myriad white men in the north gave their lives to free the black people in the south. The number is staggering. Yet, "white people be damned"!?!?

    All this mess inspired me to scan my blackface photo and sheet music archive. I'm sure if the dems got their hands on it they would burn it. Blackface for Halloween was common back in the day, same as dressing up as an Indian.

    Actually as i saw what Trump did was say do as a congressman did over ill comments to the non offender. Trump can sure be rough in how he talks.

    We agree on the balance but I am a bit surprised you appear to condone what Al Franken did to that woman. She was sleeping and it appears he groped her.

    I don't care who kneels, but the professional game of football is not a political platform for malcontent players, it is a game fans pay dearly for. Kaepernick quarterbacked my local team and very few approved what he did in a professional occupation.

    Blacks get away with much that they do.

    Take the killings in cities. To hear Democrats speak of it, they feel sorry for them though tried in a court of law and put in prison. Democrats find a way to claim those are merely victims. But they serve in prison. Their true victims put in time in the Grave.

    When one stops to analyze this, turns out the vast amount of malcontents are fueled by the media and not FOX news either.

    Could this be a carefully calculated way for her to get back as a big fish in the small pond of RW media when the results from MSM weren't shaping up so well? She could now claim to be a victim of PC culture and then pivot to speak out against it. Speculative, yes, just one possible interpretation.

    After all, what white media person in prevailing "hyperbolically offended" culture doesn't know that even saying "blackface" in a sentence that doesn't also include "racist" is suicide? especially within the impressionable female LW skewed audience of morning TV? Kelly, regardless of what one thinks of her or her reporting, is a highly intelligent woman. This gaffe seems contrived.

    And because we are -not- privy to her contract terms, was there a possible metric or milestone in play that was threatening to terminate it without obligation to pay it out? If so, this could also be careful legal maneuvering on advice of counsel.

    Whoopi may have been the last person to see blackface live.

    Dressed up as an Indian several times as did many kids. If Mom and Dad didn't have money for a war bonnet, then you glue up a bunch of pine straw and keep it on your head with a canvas strap.

    Fox was glad to be rid of her NBC paid a large price to find out the woman is toxic.
