Yeah quote where I said that, we've still got serious problems on our southern border and Congress needs to get off its ass. To all but the open-border crowd, this deal is an obvious huge plus for the United States.

The border "crisis" worsened because of Trump's policies and Trump's failures as a leader.

Which Trump policy has encouraged more immigrants to leave their homes in CA and come to the US border?

You appear to believe that the border "crisis" is the result of immigrants leaving their homes in CA and traveling to the US border...

And that makes zero rational sense.

Prove they didn't. You are the one saying it's a lie so the onus is on you.

For the sake of argument let's say Trump accepted a deal he already had. You do realize Trump still made the deal in the first place don't you?

Oh, then it wasn't a great deal for the US because it doesn't address any problems.
Thank you for making that clear.

Of course it addresses the problem. Just because it doesn't completely solve it... nothing will completely solve it, doesn't mean we should take positive steps and this one is very very positive. Does your post make sense to you?

Setting aside the fact that you made the statement that any allegation that Trump lied is a falsehood itself, so you should be the one to back that up, here are three different links to prove that Trump lied: I can get even more examples if you really feel like Trump has any legitimacy to his claims.

The Mexican ambassador to the US explains Trump’s claim of a new agricultural agreement
Trump's Twitter defense of Mexico agreement is short on specifics
Mexican ambassador contradicts Trump on farm deal

Trump caved because he had to cave. He was never going to implement tariffs because he was never going to place an albatross around the neck of the US economy heading into the 2020 election and Mexico knew it. Trump backed himself into a corner and had to either accept whatever cosmetic arrangement Mexico was willing to offer or to follow through on a threat that was tantamount to political suicide.

So Trump got two highly general, largely aspirational action areas, a "Mexican Enforcement Surge" and "Migrant Protection Protocols." Everything else was about how the U.S. and Mexico would "work together," and "continue their discussions," and "lead in working with regional and international partners to build a more prosperous and secure Central America."

And - just like last time with the government shut down over a budget deal that resulted in Trump accepting a deal that was even worse than the one he was previously offered - Trump accepted a deal he already had after making a threat and then folding like a little bitch.

    Deal with it.

The recession that Reagan inherited was a stagflation issue and the recession that Obama inherited was a housing issue. How are they
synonymous? Totally different cups of tea. I was in business during the Reagan years and we were not on the precipice of depression.
Trump inherited a growing economy and made a huge error in goosing it as he did and at a huge cost, and you will find this to be true
fact, not "fake fact" or "alternate fact".

How does threatening American jobs and financial well being just to fold and accept a deal he already had "addressing the problem?"

There us absolutely no link between what ABC said and the markets. None of the true financial reports blamed any thing on ABC.

So let me teach you what really affects the markets.

    'Market Watch 3-2-18
"Here’s why the Dow took the Trump tariffs so hard"
"Add trade tensions and the threat they pose to economic growth to the list of worries that were already dogging stock-market investors in 2018.
President Donald Trump’s announcement Thursday that he was set to impose tariffs on aluminum and steel imports sent stocks tumbling. Weakness continued Friday morning, with stocks opening sharply lower before rebounding off lows, with the S&P 500 SPX, +0.47% taking back some of the previous day’s decline while the Dow" DJIA, +0.30% ended lower for a fourth straight session
    https://www.marketwatch.com/story/h...-trump-tariff-announcement-so-hard-2018-03-01

This has been going on for years
This is a real financial report that follows the stock market not like the B.S. rag you quoted. By the way there were other legitimate stock market and financial watchers including the WSJ who corroborated this report. That's because there is a real link between how well U.S. companies perform and how much in increased Tariffs effect their profits.
Trump is the biggest crusher of stock markets this country has eve seen in a president.

Actually you offer no facts regarding the condition of the country when Obama took office. There were multiple issues facing Obama: He faced a stock market crash, a housing market collapse, banking and investment firms in decline and a huge jobless rating of nearly 10% It was called The Great Recession. Not by any stretch of the imagination did Reagan face that many economic pot holes at one time.By the time Obama left office the unemployment rate had dropped to 4.8 percent from a near 10% at the beginning. Of course why talk about real facts when propaganda feels so much better..

So there is no agreement and no new deal with Mexico? Earlier you said the deal was struck months ago. Which is it? Can't be both.
The fact of the matter is Mexico was dragging it's feet in talks that included what Trump forced them to commit to with threats of tarrifs and it seems the most recent news is they are also committing to much more severe actions if the current plan does not significantly reduce illegals crossing our border. This is a big win for Trump and America. Deal with it.

"Mexican Foreign Secretary Marcelo Ebrard said Monday that his government would consider a regional asylum agreement if enforcement measures agreed to last week in Washington fail to stem the tide of migrants northward."

You claimed Trump lied so the responsibility is your to prove it. So far you have not and have only offered he said she said to support your claim.

You have three links in front of you that established he is lying. Here is another.

Trump's Mexico tariff deal is fake news. Mexico has been enforcing U.S. immigration policy for years.

You can accept those or continue to shove your head up Trump's ass. Your call.

Provide any proof, besides Trump's own lie, that he is telling the truth.

I know liberals want to change law but law in this country is innocent until proven guilty. I don't have to prove trumps innocence but you do have to prove his guilt

That is a real dumb defense considering that I have now given you four different links with proof that he is lying.

You think he is telling the truth? Then all you need to do is provide me the details of the agriculture purchasing deal that he espoused. How much, and what, are they willing to buy?

Oh, so it's not a completely great deal, just an incremental step........................which was worked out months ago.

So, we are back to your boy Donnie being a liar when he claims some great victory for this deal.
