I fully admitted they overreacted. Still doesn't excuse him of thinking he can do what he wants then gets all apologetic after he's caught.

The main issue cops deal with are sudden acts of violence and as soon as he put his hands in his pockets of his hoodie in the "wrong way", it escalated. Instead of "sorry", he made an excuse and they jumped. And was he fighting back on the ground and resisting? Couldn't see. Its sad that cops can't trust black males late at night who happen to fit a particular profile to always behave perfectly. Its why the cop waited, because its not the first time they deal with a situation like this that turns sour. Large black guy+late at night+who doesn't seem like a doctor of lawyer type, means suspicion, sad to say. Not saying its racist, but these cops have seen this before. Its just experience. Considering the area, they deal with this all the time. Wish they didn't have to be suspicious.
