I didn't say it could, can you not read what possibly means?

possibly (that word again) the feeling of discrimination against them pushes them into a mind set of wanting pay-back.

    This is comical.

Actually, you did say it 'could' happen (I used possible - but your reading comprehension leaves much to be desired) as possible and 'could' are interchangeable.

For instance, if something could happen, it is possible to happen, and something possible happening means it could happen.

Would you mind telling us your background?

I have a feeling it would explain a lot.

Could used in the way I used it is an auxiliary verb, so no in the way I used it they are not interchangeable.

An auxiliary verb is a verb that adds functional or grammatical meaning to the clause in which it appears—for example, to express tense, aspect, modality, voice, emphasis, etc. Auxiliary verbs usually accompany a main verb. The main verb provides the main semantic content of the clause.

My background is none of your business.

and as to reading comprehension I answered your question as follows -
    - which you either ignored or didn't comprehend.

something else that certain people ignore is the wealth gap between whites and blacks in the USA.

24.7% of blacks live below the poverty line in the US compared with 8.6% of whites, could this be another reason why blacks have a higher representation within the prison system than whites?

The median income of black households in 2004 was $30,134 and the per capita income as low as $16,035, compared to a median income of $48,977 in white households and a per capita income of $27,414.

I wonder what the prison population split for murderers would be if blacks were at the same wealth level of whites, or if whites were at the same poverty level as blacks.
