From the Guardian, US has nothing to apologize for on climate change, says defiant EPA chief - excerpt:

The above in red is a boldfaced lie from the head of the EPA.

What on earth can Europe gain if America's economy is shackled given that the United States had $699 billion in total (two ways) goods trade with the European Union during 2015, its largest Goods trade partner. Goods exports totaled $273 billion; Goods imports totaled $426 billion.

It would be utter stoopidity for Europe to want the US economy to falter because in doing so European exports to the US would suffer making it more difficult for Europe to diminish its own high unemployment.

Moreover, Pruitt has never ever explained how the Paris Agreement would put the US at an "economic disadvantage". US technology in the area of toxic-emission controls is some of the best available. The Paris Agreement is going to be a boon for American firms. But, only if this administration's honchos get off their high horses.

What a government of simpletons presently in LaLaLand on the Potomac, from the PotUS all the way down the line ...

It's the absolute truth. The Paris agreement would be an absolute economic penalty for the US economy by raising the price of energy. Germany is the best example of this. Their people pay 3X the price for electricity than we pay in the US. Their economic growth is pathetic even by Obamanomic standards.

The western European elites only desire company in their self destructive attempts to reduce CO2 emissions which will have no effect on global average temperature.

Dint forget to toss in some gas at $5.50 a gallon in Germany too. (Most of Europe actually) they are really getting hosed.

And so what? No pain, no gain. All technological change requires both effort and investment.

Atmospheric conditions are at a point where they are affecting Life-Spans of entire populations. And you think the Paris Agreement is a ruse to make key climate-technology more expensive in the US?

What a farce! The prime benefactors of the Paris Agreement are the technology leaders in the area of Emission Reduction. And which country has those "leaders"?

Yes, the US does! The US exportation of emission-control technology is going to explode.

And since you seem only concerned about the money-aspect of Climate Change, I suggest heartily that you go looking for the stocks of those companies that are likely to benefit most ... !

Climate change is a hoax we played into for too long. Obama's Paris Accord was ridiculous.

Got a bonafide argument explaining why the Paris Agreement is all wrong?

    Let's see it ...

Exactly - economic pain and no reduction in global temperature.

    Global warming is net beneficial.
