    A) what part of I agree with the ruling do you not get?
    B) refusing to decorate the cakes is refusing service. Odd you don’t get that.

    Many people do not understand disability. I have documents from my therapists.

    Discrimination against LGBT people is wrong. Discrimination against people suffering from Depression is wrong.

    Sadly people with mental disorders are severely punished for who they are. The same may apply to LGBT people.

    I misspoke. The legislation bans discrimination in housing, employment and education based on sexuality. It protects gay and straight people.

    That's like saying people who don't have arms are severely punished for not being able to type.

    You wouldn't want a mentally ill person (and that's a wide net, I understand) babysitting either. That's not discrimination, that's inability to perform the function.

    Maybe because anti discrimination laws are immoral.

    Humans have the right to discriminate in any way they choose. The only equality which is moral is equality under the law and anti discrimination laws are by definition discriminatory and a violation of the principle of equality under the law
    Nobody has the right to housing or to work or to be educated.

    Opposing these laws a little is good repealing them is better

    Discrimination is moral and a human right.

    You discriminate as do I and every other individual.

    Only government should be banned from it. Only government should be forced to treat people equally no one else is morally obligated to do so

    I never knew sexual or6was on job and housing applications. But I have not filled out a job application since 89.

    I think you are playing it a little fast and loose ronstar. The news article clearly says Mormons and yet you wrote Conservatives. A miss leading post from Ronstar, I am not surprised.

    Of those 3 things, only federal employment is Constitutional. The other 2 are non-starters as the FedGov has no authority to be involved in housing or education.

    That said, government should not discriminate on any basis except qualifications.

    The Federal govt is obligated to make sure all citizens are not subject to arbitrary discrimination due to their sexuality or gender identity.

    All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

    If the States refuse to prevent discrimination based on sexuality, the Feds must step in.

    Its about time. Equal Opportunity for all!!!

    So you believe that people should be barred from having freedom of religion? That is the reason that mormons are against it. It strips religious organizations of their protection from Government interfering in their religious freedom. You have start a thread on a completely dishonest argument.

    Severely (and moderately) disabled people should have food, shelter, medical care.

    Having Depression and Autism makes it almost impossible to find and hold a job.

    LGBT people do not deserve to be discriminated against either.

    but your religious freedom ends where my face begins.

    Conservatives wanting to use religion as an excuse to discriminate against Gays, Lesbians and transgender, is disgusting and very anti-Christian.

    Conservatives believe in equal opportunity for all, right? well time to prove it

    Not private businesses.

    The law is deliberately misapplied, and then arbitrarily enforced to suit the whims of the hypocritical left.

    Unlike leftists though, who run to the nearest lawyer and sue, conservatives just politely leave when refused service.

    No shirt, no shoes, no service ;)
