I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how it all turns out. McCabe filed his civil suit only 8 months ago in a timely fashion. If you have ever been involved in a lawsuit you would know that it sometimes takes years to get to court.

McCabe is a lifelong Republican who has never even met Hillary or Bill Clinton nor has his wife who is a highly respected Doctor, much less “being in bed” with them. That was just another of the thousands of lies Trump and his bootlickers in the media like Sean Hannity have puked out over the last couple years. McCabe did nothing to undermine the election. He simply started an investigation into Trump and his sleazy cohorts when it became abundantly clear to him and others that Trump and many of his cohorts were involved with Russian Mobsters.

Any good FBI agent would have done the same under similar circumstances. I predict that when all of the facts come to light, McCabe will be vindicated and Trump along with many of his close associates will be exposed as sleazebags.

Mistakes have been made by federal agencies in forcing people. I give McCabe the benefit of the doubt. His record and his demeanor make me think that he is a pretty good guy.

 

I’ll trust the rest of the mean and women on the fbi’s Ethics committee as well as the DOJ’s IG.

We will see how it comes out when McCabe gets his day in court. Seemed to me it was a highly charged political firing. Trump was slamming him and his wife for months before he was ousted then classily gloating for getting him fired a week before his retirement. The fact that the case hasn’t been thrown out yet indicates that there must be some merit to his suit.

 

The IG report was order by a bipartisan group in congess and conducted by a dem who was appointed by obama. That report was what got him canned

 

You mean the same McCabe that was fired and is now under federal investigation and is being looked at by a grand jury? That McCabe?

 

OK and if the Democrat wins in 2020 shall we just start a special prosecutor investigation and subpoena all their records and those of all their campaign staff and all of their family to see if we can find something? Both house of Congress should start their own investigations, call their lawyers to come and testify to all their interactions and things they did for the Democrat President? Maybe we should just start as soon as they announce, a special investigator assigned to each. Then we can determine what merits such scrutiny.

No, that is NOT what was actually stated and the investigation has not yet been closed.

The thing that made the Starr investigation wrong was that it was an investigation not to investigate an obvious crime that was committed, but to find a crime to charge Bill Clinton with. And that is what makes the Muller investigation so wrong. It was never intended to investigate Russian collusion but was intended to find a crime to charge President Trump with. So far, other than some Russian non-citizen individuals, not a single indictment has been related to Russian collusion or the campaign. And most have been 'crimes' committed because of some error of fact generally created by the investigation itself. The only ones indicted for actual crimes so far have been Manafort and Cohen, and none of those crimes had anything to do with Russian collusion.

There is no doubt in my mind that Cohen's time with Congress yesterday and today is intended to be the beginning of testimony that will provide sufficient ammo for them to try to impeach President Trump. Cohen definitely didn't get that done despite his opinion of the President, but they'll take whatever innuendo he provided and add it to anything else they can glean from discredited but cooperative 'witnesses' until they think they can justify it.

But if a Democrat is elected in 2020 or 2024, it would be a lot of fun to save all these comments from those supporting these witch hunt types of investigations and see how their tune will change when it is THEIR guy or gal who is under fire.

Absolutely here, there was no predicate crime and he is ending up with these process crimes.

And a criminal referral is being sent to the DOJ over his testimony yesterday for perjury.

Heck let's go ahead and assign a SP to each announced candidate so we can be sure they are not colluding with Russia.
