Muslims Are Outraged Over Trump’s Cabinet Picks

The best commentary on the greatness of Trumps selections. It means he's keeping his promises to do what American voters elected him to do.


In a statement to BuzzFeed News, Council on American-Islamic Relations Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper told BuzzFeed News that Sessions’ possible appointment “only adds to a growing list of appointments and nominations with troubling pasts and troubling histories of bigotry and intolerance.”


Hooper said other appointees like Steve Bannon as chief strategist and Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn as national security adviser also “have very disturbing Islamophobic backgrounds and backgrounds in which they’ve targeted other minorities.”


He added, “This is something that should be a concern for all Americans.”


Legal advocacy group Muslim Advocates also released a statement on Flynn’s appointment saying it was “deeply disturbed” by Flynn’s selection

Okay, I'm confused. Someone remind me why we should be adjusting our government to the vision and benefit of other countries when they are not adjusting their government to our vision and benefit?

It's part of the show. No one in this life would select Steve Bannon without an entirely white supremacist agenda. And the rest of his cabinet are as bad if not worse. Kind of reminds me of Hitlers team of Gestapo who murdered millions. This is the kind of go to team to get that done. Except he won't place them all in camps. Maybe some, but not all. We are now going to see the real Republican party and the evil it will incur.

 

We're not at war, and we don't have a "ubermensch" theory in mind. Or political revenge. Or anything that led to the second world war. We want to pivot AWAY from the Europeans who want to pick a fight with Russia.

If Trump really were this Hitler-clone, he'd ironically be on Europe's side on this and try to do what Hitler couldnt: conquer Moscow.

 

This was an election about white supremacy and the ever growing demographic change. No one in his or her right mind, looking at Trump's new cabinet picks could possibly see this election as being about anything else. The "make America great again" slogan that has always meant "make America white again", is the hell that minorities will have to live with for the next four years. Going back to tax cuts for the wealthy will keep minorities with no skin in the game. Doing away with affordable health care by placing it back in a market based system, will keep minorities out of the market with no health insurance, once again. Going to charter schools while gutting public education will place minorities at an unfair advantage for getting a decent education. Predatory lending for houses and vehicles will explode, setting up minorities to fail in that area as well. The mortgage industry is already gearing up like they did before, except they won't call the mortgages sub prime loans. About that "growing demographic change", let's see where it ends up 10-20 years from now. My guess and prediction, is that like with all things it will cancel itself out eventually. Systematic transformations of a geographic society are almost unheard of and are catalytic by nature. Name the last one?

You're right! This country geographically speaking, was full of browns in the beginning. It's quite likely that's what it will go back to. The demographic change of whites can't last forever now can it?

 

Native Americans weren't Africans last I checked. Unless you're referring to the Scientific statement that purposes that we were all born with high melatin and that weather changes created different mutations of skin color.

Steve Bannon would not have a major role in the Trump administration as his main area is election campaigning. He was rewarded for the election victory by taking up the unofficial position. Michael Flynn seems to have flirted with the Alt-Right on Twitter but anything on the network is much less racist than what you can find on Facebook.
