Interesting, as the Koran promises Hell and the Fire to those who insult Islam and the Prophet.

Well, that's the problem. It's not "just" Islam and the Prophet. Apparently Muhammad endeavored to expand the scope of the term "enemy", beyond the universally accepted definition. (Kinda like Bush, but we won't go there).

You can read the Quran, I have.... these are not the words of a military genius, that's for sure. If you're an amenable to a quickie exercise, you can bullet-list every violation of Sun Tzu that you find in the Quran. The list is.... long! LONG!!!

So, y'know, the truth - the truth, as nearly as can be established historically and scientifically - is that that "prophet" Muhammad was an epileptic who suffered from grand mal seizures. This guy was really screwed up, he was boinking little girls who weren't even old enough to form their own thoughts, he was stealing from people and using his "visions" to justify the theft..... I mean, this does not sound like a "prophet", this sounds like a raving paranoid sociopath.

And there is no part of what I just said, that should be considered mockery.

Why wouldn't God promise hellfire for those who insult Him and his messengers?

Don't worry; I neither expect them to get on their hands and knees and beg forgiveness NOR condemn the attacks.

The question is why should they publicly condemn it in the first place. Why do you expect your average and ordinary Muslim family to condemn something they had nothing to do with?

You know math? Want a little quickie logic?

Muslims claim "Allah is everything". (Just like Christians claim God is all, etc etc).

So let us begin with a logical proposition.

The proposition is: either God is everything, or He is nothing.

If He's nothing, then there's no need to continue this discussion.

However if God is everything then the hellfire belongs to him too.

Problem for the Muslim logic though, is the apostates belong to him too.

And so do the "enemy combatants".

"Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord" - well, there's no such concept in the Quran. It's more like: "you can pillage and plunder at will, subject to the following conditions: ....".

If you can't answer that question, then good luck trying to figure out why Islam has a huge PR problem.

God is everything? God is simply creator of all things, and is above His creation.

Well, it's pretty simple: Lack of condemnation implies consent.

Nice demonstration of ignorance of Islam. Some might call it bigotry. Allah is exactly the same god as the Christian and Jewish god. The "force of evil"
is definitely on the human end things, just like in Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, etc.

    I totally agree.

How fortunate for our planet that the vast majority who wrap themselves up in false piety and ignorant self serving misinterpretations do not run around cutting off heads in the name of their god. Quite a different story than just a few hundred years ago.

So denunciation, expressions of sympathy and support for the victims, is insufficient?

I know, maybe all the peace loving muslims should buy AK47's and patrol the streets to guard against the nutbar fanatics hurting infidels. They could even join the NRA and form militias for that very purpose.

And why should they go out of their way to prove anything to you, when they have their average lives to attend to?

I can't count how many times I've heard "Why don't REAL Christians do something about" - oh, say Westboro or something. Or heck, we have people here saying "Why don't you Conservatives do something about those Tea Party nutjobs that are making you look bad?" Or whatever.

Looks like the shoe is on Islam's foot now. And if it's asking too much of Islam, then why is it NOT too much to ask for other groups regarding their nutjobs?

yes, and some Muslims will do the same for the terrorists, but your article did not call the man that killed Dr Tiller a terrorist, that was what you asked for and what I asked for

"Domestic Terrorist? Palin Still Won't Say"

    http://www.dailykos.com/story/2009/06/01/737659/-Domestic-Terrorist-Palin-Still-Won-t-Say

why is it so hard for some Christians to call them terrorists? is Palin a terrorist sympathizer? or like many Muslims, is she just blind to the truth.....

Why does it matter what her response is when it's obvious that whatever we're doing is working? You can tell by the lack of abortion clinic bombings.

Our legal system does the talking for us.

ah, so now that I posted that, it doesn't matter that some Christians wont call them terrorists.... I see

and I am sure the French legal system will do the talking for them

the middle east needs to adopt secular governments, secular laws... separate religion from their government.....

We'll see what the French system will do if they ever catch these perpetrators.
