Actually, I did it. It was an accident. I had too much cabbage soup and I was driving a truckload of petrol across the Kerch bridge while smoking a cigarette. Sorry for the inconvenience. Had absolutely horrid gas due to the cabbage soup and suddenly it just blew.

Nord Stream Gas Outage Extended to April. Nord Stream AG, the operator of the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline, said Monday that it is extending the line’s outage to April 1, next year. Nord Stream 1 was shut down for repairs in August and was then damaged by explosives in September. The extended outage means that Russia will not supply gas to Europe via the Nord Stream 1 to its Greifswald connection in Germany for the entire winter. Reuters

Canada Restores Nord Stream Turbine Sanctions. Canada announced on Wednesday that it plans to revoke a sanctions waiver that allowed turbines to Russia’s Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline to be repaired, following discussions with Ukraine and other allies. The pipeline, which is located under the Baltic Sea, was shut down on August 31st for repairs before suffering major leaks in September and has not reopened since. It is believed by European governments that the damage to this pipeline as well as Nord Stream 2 were caused by Russian sabotage, a claim that Moscow has denied. Bloomberg Reuters

    Ha ha!

In Nord Stream Mystery, Baltic Seabed Provides a Nearly Ideal Crime Scene

In recent weeks, Nord Stream AG, which is majority-owned by a Kremlin-controlled company, has begun pricing out the cost to repair the pipe and restore gas flow, according to a person briefed on the work who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak about it publicly. One repair estimate starts at about $500 million, the person said. Consultants for Russia are also studying how long the damaged pipes can withstand saltwater exposure. The inquiries raise the question of why, if Russia bombed its own pipelines, it would begin the expensive work of repairing them.

Heh, yes it's such a mystery!

I still don't know who did it. There were valid reasons on all sides. All I've ever said is that it's a great thing for both sides that the ****ing pipe is dead as it removes the fake bullshit and dependency on an expansionist authoritarian regime. And that the longer the pipe is down the more likely it is that Europe moves on from Russia.

So I don't care who did it.

Well if we did it, or any NATO country, it could be construed as an act of war. However I realize that's a feature rather than a bug to many of you.

I think Putin thinks everything is an act of war except the act of invading another country with the intent to conquer.

If he wants to consider the pipeline an act of war, again...I don't give a ****. At this point I think NATO should just shoulder into Ukraine and end this nonsense.

Oh I don't think they are certain. They blamed Britain a few months ago, but I'm sure they would like to know who did it as much, if not more, than any in the world. It was their billion dollar asset that got capped after all.

OK I'm not getting it. You think Russia blew up their own pipeline for the propaganda value, so how does it being taken out possibly being construed as an act of war propaganda value to them?
