So are all the hetero sexuals with 16 year olds in the states where the age of consent is 16 like this boy in new York was form pedophiles to? im almost sure there not

Ephebophilia is the sexual preference of adults for mid-to-late adolescents, generally ages 15 to 19.[1][2] The term was originally used in the late 19th to mid 20th century, and has been more recently revisited by Ray Blanchard.[2] It is one of a number of sexual preferences across age groups subsumed under the technical term "chronophilia". Ephebophilia strictly denotes the preference for mid-to-late adolescent sexual partners, not the mere presence of some level of sexual attraction. In sexual ethics, it may be defined as a sexual preference for girls generally 14–16 years old, and boys generally 14–19 years old.[3] Some authors define ephebophilia as a sexual preference for pubescent and adolescent boys.[4]

In research environments, specific terms are used for chronophilias: for instance, ephebophilia to refer to the sexual preference for mid-to-late adolescents,[1] ****philia to refer to the sexual preference for earlier pubescent individuals, and pedophilia to refer to the sexual preference for prepubescent children.[5] However, the term pedophilia is commonly, but incorrectly, used to refer to any sexual interest in minors below the legal age of consent, regardless of their level of physical, mental, or psychological development.[6] Acting upon ephebophilic preference is illegal when the adolescent is below the legal age of consent

You can give the crime any fancy name you like, but the laws were broken in both New York and California [where Milk and drug-addicted boy sex toy travelled between at the time] as to sexual contact with a minor.

Jack McKinley was 16 and on drugs when 33 year old Harvey Milk began to sodomize him. Done deal. Crimes committed.

Now we have the choir of gay-defenders coaxing people that because some backwater states have lower ages of consent [nevermind that at any age it's a crime to sodomize someone under the influence of an intoxicating substance], that "what Harvey Milk did to these vulnerable boys was perfectly fine!".

It wasn't. Not then, not now, and if I have my way, it will never be..

Good to see the Governor on CNN last night. He spoke in plain english why he vetoed the Bill on gay marraige, didn't flinch or falter. Said he could not go against his strong internal convictions on the matter and left it up to the people of New Jersey to hold a referendum on the matter.

I like how he said, tongue in cheek, that gays shouldn't worry about that referendum because "according to their polling data, gays have the majority support in New Jersey." *wry smile*. He knows they don't. They know they don't. And it was Gov. Christie's way of calling them on the lie they're trying to promote, that "the majority of Americans support gay marraige". Christie said he felt quite comfortable being in the same group of 43 states who don't have gay marriage being legal.

And in related news, pro-traditional marraige people have successfully petitioned the 9th circuit court to rehear the matter where only a tiny few of them upheld the ban on Prop 8. So this stays the legality of gay marraige in CA once again and so properly, only 6 states have gay marraige being legal as we sit here. California is not one of them. Even while they teach children in school there that "pedophiles are OK to look up to"...

Yes I agree. Good for him not bowing to the immoral demands of the lunatic fringe.

Why are you against letting the VOTERS DECIDE, which is Christie's position?
Why do LEftists ALWAYS want to deny the People their Voice, instead trying to FORCE Leftninny Goofyworld down our throats?

Because civil rights are not up for a vote in a Constitutionally limited republic, which is what we (allegedly) have in this nation.

Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on dinner.
