Why are we taxpayers still subsidizing this garbage? They call themselves Public Broadcasting when in truth the only public their broadcasting is aimed at is the liberal/progressive/socialist/communist crowd. This needs to stop. It's like paying for abortions.

Trump tweeted on Thursday that he wants to call Schiff, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Bidens as witnesses in his impeachment trial.

Why in the world do Trump and Republicans want to call Democrats and the whistleblower as witnesses? How can they possibly help Trump's defense?

I have not heard a Republican explanation for calling such witnesses. You are suggesting it. You tell me how will they help Trump?

 

This is why Democrats are so eager to impeach Trump. As you will see, so should Republicans.

After the July 25 phone call with Zelensky, as he usually does, Trump doubled down on the Biden investigation. On Oct. 3, in a news conference on the White House lawn, he called on Ukraine and China to look into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

“If they were honest about it, they would start a major investigation into the Bidens,” Trump said when asked what he wanted Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky to do about the former veep and his son.

“They should investigate the Bidens,” Trump said. “Likewise, China should start an investigation into the Bidens, because what happened in China is just about as bad as what happened with Ukraine.”

There is no getting around it. It is all well and good that Republicans can say Trump did nothing to cause his removal from office, but if the Republicans in the Senate exonerate Trump, if Trump's fans continue to insist impeachment is a sham, then the Republican Party and Trump's fans are saying:

A) The President is permitted to ask for foreign interference in our elections to improve his chances of winning.

B) The President is permitted to use military aid approved by Congress to a country fighting Russian aggression as a means of extortion to compel a foreign leader to comply with his wishes.

C) To cover up his deeds, the President is permitted to use obstruction of justice.

D) The President is permitted to ignore Congressional oversight as mandated by our Constitution.

Is this what the Republican Party wants to be remember for?

 

Absolutely. We would like to know when Schiff knew there was a whisleblower and how he was coached and we would like to know how Biden can possibly justify Hunter getting millions without the energy company getting something in return among other questions.

 

I quit donating to PBS despite other good program simply due to their socialist news program ran by Judy Woodruff.

 

I want the connection that PBS alleges proves the Bidens are not crooked.

 

I would court martial any military officer for treason and sedition against our president over talking this way.

 

Why does it matter when Schiff knew about the whistleblower? I can answer that, around Sept. 10, maybe a few days earlier. Then, when the Democrat's lawyer questions the witness, the whistleblower spills his beans again. You think that is smart?

Since time immemorial children of powerful fathers have been hired because of the father. Ivanka and Jared serve as good examples. That is not corruption. It may have been stupid, but people aren't punished for being stupid. So, Hunter gets up there and makes the Republicans look foolish again.

All that will help Trump? Naw, they won't get called. McConnell won't allow it.

We want to know why he came forward and whether he was coached among other things. Schiff hasn't been able to keep his story straight. We would like to to know why.

For the last time: Because he lied when he said that he didn't get a blow job, and he did! If he hadn't gotten a blowjob, he would have been impeached. Actually, you were. In post 15. The word "blow job" was not mentioned until then by any other poster or video.

That is a stupid argument. You might as well blame the impeachment on the Sun being formed out of cosmic dust because if that hadn't happened then we wouldn't be here and Clinton never would have had the blow job which he committed perjury about. It was his choice to lie about getting a blow job. He very well could have been up front and told the truth. Instead he lied. His fault. No one else's.
