Part of the reason the Dems are looking at various matters to investigate is the complete abdication of that responsibility on the part of Repubs while they ran the House. When Chaffetz made his remarks Repubs had already been investigating Hillary for years.

THAT's the problem with the Mueller investigation, it has no preset conclusion, it is only to investigate Trump. Without a goal to achieve other than investigate, it is unconstitutional.

So you oppose open ended investigations without a preset conclusion do you? Have you told that to your local PD, your county sheriff's office, the FBI, or any other law enforcement agency? If the cops were investigating a murder, and turned up enough evidence of a child porn ring, was it a waste of time to pursue those pervs to justice, if the murder was not sustained by a charge? Personally, I am delighted if they helped shut down that kiddie porn operation regardless of their original intent when they first began surveillance and interviewed suspects.

By the way, the Mueller investigation was not set up to find evidence of Donald Trump committing crimes. That is a bold faced lie. It was set up to investigate potential wrong doing that the administration, the Trump campaign or others closely aligned with either because the White House, the AG's office, the Department of Justice and the FBI might have conflicts preventing a full and vigorous investigation themselves.
