Would yours change if evidence surfaced the Navy was making preparations to quarantine thousands of sailors in Guam, facilities to do so not just sitting there, and had been working with the Captain?

    Stop playing victim.

Trump has proven how incompetent he is...and that's being kind

I did my time in the US Army.

Like when I served in Vietnam, today's military is not about defending the country. It is about advancing empire, stealing assets of other countries, and killing innocents, just as Smedley Butler USMC mentioned a century ago.

I'm all for defense of the homeland--it is the most noble cause. Stealing the oil underneath the sand of other countries is not defending the homeland.

Crozier did the right thing. I am proud to call him a fellow American. He is a man with conscience, somehow rare in today's military.

I was in Vietnam also. I never saw any of your advancing our empire and stealing the oil. We never got a thing out of Vietnam except a huge debt and 50,000 dead Americans.

Then you don't know what "advancing empire" means, apparently.

You forgot that we got decades worth of US soldiers being poisoned, some killed, by Agent Orange. The gift that keeps on giving.

The Iraq troops had a version of poisoning by way of depleted uranium use. It's poisoned more of them than it killed Iraqis. Yes, the gift that keeps on giving. Thanks to the Pentagon.

It is hard for me to forget since I was exposed to Agent Orange and my peripheral neuropathy was likely caused by it. Agent Orange was effective in allowing allied aircraft to spot Viet Cong and N Vietnamese troops.
Depleted uranium was used because it was very dense and allowed our smaller weapons carried by aircraft to penetrate enemy armor.

War is terrible and I don't think we should have been involved in any of them. However, I do not believe there were ulterior motives.

Who cares how many US troops get poisoned by DU?

I do, I did my short time in the Army in Medical Service Corps, the administrative branch of the Medical Corps, the actual docs.

So caring about troop casualties was what I did while I was there.

    Copy that.

My problems are my own, not yours. I already knew that FYI.

And your problems are equally trivial to me, copy?

And now the Acting Secretary of the Navy has had to resign because he attacked the Captain.

We’ll get an acting acting secretary now:) Both the acting secretary and captain got in the way of the Trump narrative therefore they needed to go. Same old same old.

If the evidence was dated before the captain leaked the message and the captain had been apprised of these preparations, yes. Now how about you answer my question?
