I've seen some mainstream media about UFOs lately it would be nice if the OP author would provide more information

Sounds like a great story but I don't have time to chase it down

Yeah there are quite a few old drawings, even some in caves, of UFO's.

They have obviously been visiting us for quite awhile, maybe even seeded the planet with us.....that's a theory anyways.

That would explain he tens of thousands of stories of people being abducted and experimented on...…..they are checking on their project.

I don't recall any religion saying that but they don't say it never happened either.

Basically we have no idea what method God used to create us, He didn't bother telling us.

We know that He used the process of evolution but did He simply just snap His fingers and create life or did He use aliens to begin it?

I think we would be foolish if we think that God might not also have other worlds out there with other races on them.

Sure, that would be awesome but don't go out of your way.

Not that big of a deal.

It's an interesting fact that I didn't know.

“There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” Genesis 6:4 (KJV)

the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.

Naturally you have to put these writings into a platform of what we would expect from the mostly illiterate and superstitious.

If they were high tech aliens they were treated as the Gods, and basically raped any woman they wanted.

They probably had offerings from the community, and a girl who bore a God- child was probably promoted to high class.

A new study presented to the Royal Society meeting on ancient DNA in London last week has revealed a dramatic finding – the genome of one of our ancient ancestors, the Denisovans, contains a segment of DNA that seems to have come from another species that is currently unknown to science. The discovery suggests that there was rampant interbreeding between ancient human species in Europe and Asia more than 30,000 years ago. But, far more significant was the finding that they also mated with a mystery species from Asia – one that is neither human nor Neanderthal.

However others, such as Chris Stringer, a paleoanthropologist at the London Natural History Museum, admitted that they “don’t have the faintest idea” what the mystery species could be.

There is talk amongst conspiracy people that there was an entire intelligent race before humans and dinosaurs evolved.

This also ties into the theory of Atlantis and what they may have discovered.

Lots of mysteries out there for sure.

The giants are another one where we have just inklings of proof and seem so close but just are missing a couple of pieces.

I like to think that all sorts of strange things have happened in our Earths past and we are completely ignorant of them today.

We have so much evidence of advanced technology here on earth, it is hard to dismiss it.
Huge structures we could not duplicate today with out tech.

These are cut from granite, over 10,000 years ago.
They didn't make this stuff by banging rocks together.

We have no proof, and the bible is too vague.
I will dig up some Hindu, they have a much better documented history.

And here again, it is religious writings, and not proof that will stand up in a court of law.
But the coincidences of all these happening, thousands of miles, and thousands of years apart, is interesting.
This stuff is all over the world.

something happened in the worlds history that we just don't know about,
the Hindu speak of nuclear war, and something sent us back into the stone age.

Well we could do it today if we wanted to but they certainly couldn't back then.

Not without some sort of help or guidance.

When you look at human history in terms of technology you will see that it basically advances at an equal rate without contact with other cultures.

When a group of people in North America discover agriculture you generally see people in other parts of the world developing it in the same time period also.

Same for advancement in metals, language, astronomy......its fairly consistent in a general sense.

You rarely see one society advance in leaps and bounds over the rest of the world which is what we are told to believe in many of these cases.

Even look at the inventions now....when some American scientist invents a new cure there are usually a few people right behind him from around the world who would have gotten it if he didn't.

    Absolutely!

I would love to read that, I love other religions writings also...when we can take them all in, because they are all history books essentially, we can form a bigger picture.

As a Christian I don't mind that God is mostly vague because the important things we need to know are very clearly addressed. How the world will end or how it began are not needed by us and not something Christians should be focusing their time on.

It is there for context, so there is a beginning and end and it's one of the reasons why I do believe what I believe.

Among the most destructive of the astra was the “brahmastra,” created by the god Brahma,
a “single projectile charged with all the power in the universe.
It was an unknown weapon, an iron thunderbolt,
a gigantic messenger of death which reduced to ashes an entire race.
There was neither a counter attack nor a defense that could stop it.

    The weapon produced
an incandescent column of smoke and flame as bright as 10,000 suns that rose in all its splendor.
After, corpses were so burned as to be unrecognizable.
Their hair and nails fell out; pottery broke without any apparent cause, and the birds turned white…
After a few hours, all foodstuffs were infected.

“Any target hit by the brahmastra would be utterly destroyed; land would become barren and lifeless, rainfall would cease, and infertility in humans and animals would follow for aeons of time.

You have to realize that people are writing in a limited vocabulary of the time, explaining something beyond their comprehension.

The Vedas written 4000 to 6000 years ago speak of flying machines, propulsion systems, weapons, war between two interplanetary forces.

My only conclusion is that we had some great sci-fi writers for the stone age book clubs,
or these people actually witnessed something.

BTW, the original writings still exist, as does the language, cuniform sanscrit.

The original episode was with Shatner in 1963. Lithgow did it again about 1986 (?).

Whenever I come up with some new idea, it starts popping up elsewhere to the point that I begin wondering if I had written it somewhere and it was picked up by others.. It's happened too many times though.

Sounds like a viable theory, except it happened during an interplanetary war, with flying ships shooting at each other.
There are volumes written on this subject in the Vedas.

Not just a fleeting chapter like Ezekial, written somewhat vague,
    But volumes very descriptive.

between the years when the oceans drank Atlantis and the gleaming cities, and the years of the rise of the Sons of Aryas, there was an Age undreamed of, when shining kingdoms lay spread across the world like blue mantles beneath the stars - Nemedia, Ophir, Brythunia, Hyperborea, Zamora with its dark-haired women and towers of spider-haunted mystery, Zingara with its chivalry, Koth that bordered on the pastoral lands of Shem, Stygia with its shadow-guarded tombs, Hyrkania whose riders wore steel and silk and gold. But the proudest kingdom of the world was Aquilonia, reigning supreme in the dreaming west.

All agree, the best archeology is 100' below today's sea level.
So much of the Persian Gulf, an Eden.
Mediterranean coastlines and Black Sea too.
South East Asia. When more islands were in sight of one, another.
    Beringia.
    Doggerland.
    etc.

And what civilizations got washed away.
Survivors literally knocked back to the stone age.
no weaver. no baker. or . . just survive.

I believe in UFO's, and could easily believe that we were seeded by ET. I don't really believe in abductions. Too many stupid stories about anal probes and such. Space travelers didn't come to earth (if they came) to probe our anuses, or mutilate cows. At least I don't think so.
