NCMP scheme shows how hypocritical and dishonest the PAP government is.

The real reason why opposition have fewer than a requisite number of MP in parliament be it 3, 6, 9 or 12 (based on the NCMP defined minimum (/ endangered species classification) ), is because of the totally dishonest and redundant GRC system, which to begin with, the 1984 NCMP scheme should have first applied to the minority race MP candidates, so that they would still contest and even if they lose, would still be present in parliament to voice out any matter, as well as present themselves as good ambassadors of their racial community and eventually earn the trust of Singaporeans of different races, just like JB Jeyaretnam, Michael Palmer, David Marshall, S Rajaratnam, Ahmed Mattar, S Dhanabalan, S Jayakumar, Yatiman Yusoff, Mohd Maidin Packer, Umar Abdul Hamid, Wan Hussin Zoohri, Chandras Das, Zainul Abidin Rasheed all entered parliament on their own merit and without the need to be forever dependent on GRC system, whereby they will always be recognised by their respective communities as PAP stooges or pawns or worse, PAP decoys to deceive minority races that racial equality is genuine in Singapore when GRC system is actually no more than an elaborate farce to keep the opposition out of Parliament.

Present PAP GE2020 election manifesto is Jobs, Lives and Future.

Then why is PAP offering opposition the circus jobs of being NCMPs? Shouldn't PAP level the playing field and reform the GRC system and replace it with an NCMP system for minority race candidates to achieve minimum representation in parliament, so they can have their teeth cut and eventually be full constituency MP and the desired MP of all races due to their competence as MP and not merely by racial affiliation, just as J B Jeyaretnam achieved significant Chinese support in Anson, a largely Chinese enclave in his time.

Since the reason for opposition endangered species ststus in parliament is at its root the GRC system, then providing more NCMP seats without reform/ revamp of the GRC system is not solving the root of the problem solving the former problem with and even bigger problem, a waste of significant tax payers money as a consequence.

So why is PAP giving the opposition half/ 2nd rate jobs? Isn't PAP contradicting their own manifesto by being deliberately dishonest and prejudicial to Singaporeans who stand for election as opposition by providing them with the option only of half or quite bogus NCMP jobs? Isn't this a waste of tax payers money when the root of problem ( the GRC system of elections) was the corrupt creation of PAP government to begin with?

Also, why is PAP seeking to harm the lives of minority race persons by breeding racial divides and animosity by needlessly associating the corruption and gerrymandering with minority race representation? The minorities are the innocent victims here and want no part to play in PAP corrupt election gerrymandering activities. Yet the PAP has drawn animosity amongst Singaporeans towards minority races by forcing them to be the unwitting accomplices to PAP political gerrymandering activities at the expense of their reputation compromise and loss. PAP has betrayed the trust of minority race Singaporeans.

GRC system has brought much harm to Singapores future.

It is time for a review of its negatives and the benifit of cleaning up the GRC system and simplifying it with the NCMP system being used to ensure minimum minority race representation instead. Only single seat constituency elections should occur and if economy of scale were desired, single seats could amalgamate themselves into groups for the reasons of town council management, but finances will generally remain separate, for better accountability and transparency to all residents concerned.
