Are they hoping to make us feel threatened that way? For real?

You were originally referring to MAD, so I assume that all the nuclear weapons are fired at all the targets.

Attacks on military targets will probably be ground bursts. Attacks on industrial areas will probably be airbursts. There could be exceptions in both cases, but it should work as a general rule.

I haven't calculated any numbers based on current arsenals. The US will be expanding our arsenal though as soon as the current start treaty expires in 2026. We need more nukes and we need bigger nukes.

Whats that then 5000 warheads each per side .. roughly 0.5 megaton each 2500 Megatons per side dropped on US/Russia. - hard to say .. but definitely would produce contamination round the globe .. specially if say 50% were ground bursts .. definitely a possibility.

But -- if that is the case .. world annihillation basically - what is the point of building more .. and bigger ones ? to be able to destroy the world 5 times over instead of 4 ? Seems a pointless exercise. ..

Probably just bluster...Castro boys are out of the picture in Havana....I don't think Cubans are eager for Cuban missile crisis ....Part 2.

Most VZs aren't supportive of Maduro....probably even less of Russkis or their missiles on their soil.

Maduro remained in power in some part due to Russian interference, didn't he? I remember some Putler propaganda move to send Russian forces of some kind there during the unrest. I remember Trump half-heartedly calling for Maduro to step down but then standing back and letting Putler do all of this.

WTF? Successful democracy? Hell they had a democracy and then Obama, Nuland and Co orchestrated the 2014 COUP of the Democratically Elected President. They haven't had a 'successful democracy' since Obama's regime change! Approximately 20% of the population aren't even allowed to vote!! Because they are ethic Russian!.

Jeezus man. Educate yourself. If Ukie land gets the tar bombed out of it, it's their own damn fault. They haven't took the first step towards executing the Minsk Agreements.....all they do is spew lip service from the midget jew comedian.

Bigger nukes cause bigger damage when you are burning the other guy's cities.

We would not necessarily be building more from the perspective of our total stockpile of around 5000. But more of our warheads will be deployed on more delivery vehicles.

The current treaty allows 1550 deployed warheads on 700 deployed delivery vehicles, with another 100 non-deployed delivery vehicles held in reserve.

An ICBM silo with an ICBM in it counts as one of the 700 deployed delivery vehicles.

An empty ICBM silo counts as one of the 100 reserves.

Currently we have 450 silos with 400 missiles in them. So that's 400 deployed and 50 reserve.

We were planning to draw down our submarines to 12 subs with 16 missiles apiece. There is now talk of building more than 12 subs, but the math for "12 subs x 16 missile tubes" is 192 deployed delivery vehicles.

That leaves only 108 deployed delivery vehicles and 50 reserve delivery vehicles for the bomber wing of our force.

We currently plan to build 145 new stealth bombers. OK so far if some of those 145 are counted as non-deployed and have no nukes on them.

But we also plan to keep 35 of our B-52s nuclear capable. That puts us 22 delivery vehicles over the existing treaty limits.

    450 ICBM silos + 192 SLBM launch tubes + 145 stealth bombers + 35 B-52s = 822 delivery vehicles

Also, there is now talk of building more than just 12 submarines. Each additional submarine will place us 16 more delivery vehicles further past existing treaty limits.

We will also want more than 1550 total warheads deployed. We have to provide a serious deterrent against both Russian and Chinese aggression now. That means more nukes aimed at more places.

You could try rewriting it to rhyme with correct grammar.

When thou knowest not what to say,
for ignorance in us dost lay.
Then worry not and prickle them

    with our attacks ad hominem.

    There. Fixed.

Maduro was voted in and is the legal President. The other idiot was financed and backed by Washington and had no support from the Venezuelan people.
What successful democracy in Ukraine? If it was a successful democracy Yanukovich would still be in power and not the junta that Nuland installed.

It's not the rhyme, it's the rhythm. When the 'not' is before the 'knowest', then the rhythm is fine. When the 'not' is after the 'knowest' then the rhythm is off.

    But thanks anyway.

Oh jeepers...carski blew a gasket again.

    "Midget jew"??

Half of Vladolf Putlers inner circle are Jews....Deripaska,Abramovitch, his judo bumchum Rotenberg....

Weak argument on your part carski.

Ukieland gets tar bombed...? Half the planes the vatniks have don't work.

So yeah....they'll get bombed by Russki jets crashing.

    So far....

    US/Nato=2
    Mafialand=0

Talks in Schweiz going nowhere it seems carski....I hear the Kremlin chimp threatening to deploy Russki troops to Venezuela and/or Cuba?

Is this supposed to frighten us?

Cubanos aren't looking for part 2 of Cuban missile crisis and Castro boys are long gone.

VZs or most of them hate Maduro....US can have 100K Marines in VZ in less than 72hrs....Kremlin has a few dozen Wagners....not good odds AFAIC.

There is a point in being able to deter both Russia and China at the same time.

I don't approve of our building a new generation of siloed ICBMs though. ICBMs should be road mobile or based in tunnels like Carter's MX proposal.

It seemed so...few dozen "Wagners" were sent from what I understood, to prop up Maduro....also a couple Russki jets sent ....to "collect" the stashed gold...since Maduro went cap in hand to Kremlin pimp...and I guess Vladolf was looking to recuperate the $$$?

Maduro could've been gone back then....it was wrong to sit back while Putler stepped in.

I wonder if Bill ever posted at Pravda. That was *the* online hangout for Putin-loving, America-hating antisemites from the western hemisphere before it closed down.

You boys can't handle it when your dear leader zalensky is called what he is. I have to read through pages and pages of stupid-ass ad homs of Vladimir Putin so I just decided to see how the projectionists would handle the shoe on the other foot. Not well, I see.

If Putin is a midget, then zelensky is his little bitch.

Khomenie was voted in - but then his regime was here to stay
That's the ploy - use the democratic system to gain power, then rig it to stay in power.
It's the same one Maduro uses.
Hitler was voted in too. But then it took USA and Russia to kick him out.
I could show another picture of Adolf and his bambis, but it might upset you again.

Ahahaha :roflol::roflol::roflol: ...... Historians have long dispelled the myth of the "attack" of the USSR on Poland in 1939. And everyone who has a brain has long known about this.
The purpose of the entry of the Red Army into Poland was to move to the West the line of possible hostilities with Nazi Germany. But some anti-Russian historians sometimes interpret those actions of the Soviet Union as an act of aggression, or even as a "joint", with Nazi Germany, the beginning of World War II. However, such feeble-minded researchers forget that in the fall of 1939 not only did England and France, then allies of Poland, not come out against the actions of the Soviet Union, but the Polish government “forgot” to declare war on the USSR.
Meanwhile, Poland itself largely predetermined its fate when, during the Moscow negotiations in the summer of 1939, it refused to let the Red Army through its territory to fight the Wehrmacht in Czechoslovakia.
The fact that the Polish campaign of the Red Army was not an act of aggression against Poland is also evidenced by the reaction of the international community.
Neither France nor Great Britain, which declared war on Germany after the Wehrmacht invaded Poland, took a similar step against the Soviet Union. Consequently, neither in London nor in Paris believed that the USSR had committed an act of aggression.
Even the Polish government did not qualify the actions of the Soviet Union as aggression, since there was no declaration of war on Moscow.
And so I can debunk all your myths.
I advise you to improve your education and not read the yellow press. Read real documents, but not anti-Soviet myths.
