You're not a vegan and are the one whining about it. Atleast try to be consistent.

From what I understand it's quite acceptable to serve but not to partake. I suppose this depends on the individual culture.

I've been to Malaysia quite a few times. Alcohol is served at all restaurants owned and staffed my Malay Muslims. Alcohol is also readily available in Indonesia.

    Quite.

On one side we had Portuguese neighbours, on the other side the Jordanians. The families became quite close mainly because our kids were about the same age and attended the same school.

The Portuguese were Catholics, we Atheists and the Jordanians naturally Muslims, but the common denominator wasn't religion or culture but the love of good company and good food. We would get together for Sunday afternoon BBQs and the such. Every family would prepare food to share.

    Happy times indeed.

The Glorious Qur’an prohibits the consumption of alcohol in the following verse:

“O ye who believe! Intoxicants and Gambling, (Dedication of) stones, And (divination by) arrows, Are an Abomination Of Satan’s handiwork; Eschew such (abomination), That ye may prosper.” [Al-Qur’an 5:90]

You didn't buy it from muslims there....

    Calling me a liar?

Consumption and serving are two entirely different things.

That's a stupid story and only illustrates how primitive the people were who dreamed it up. If a person wants to cut his own throat as a sacrifice to his imaginary deity, good riddance. It's delusional and murder for a nitwit to think that he has the right or obligation to sacrifice someone else for his asinine religious beliefs. Abraham was one of the worse people in the Bible. His kids should have tinkled on his grave.

There is a difference between selling alcohol and consuming alcohol. There are plenty of Muslims owned liquor stores in the US. Only a few countries ban liquor stores, some limit the amount that can be sold/bought.

Where I live in Australia, the liquor shop around the corner has been owned by a Turkish Muslim family for many years. The deli up the street is also owned by a Turkish family, I believe they are related. They have some of the finest cheeses, especially fetas,, but their double smoked ham is exceptional.

Alcohol is widely available and consumed in Turkey - including by locals.

Locally produced alcohol includes a range of beers, and raki (like ouzo).

Beer and wine is produced in many other Muslim countries, and is often consumed by locals as well.

Well every muslim I know and every person with muslim friends and family I know has essentially collectively said, "you're lying your ass off". So basically I can either trust actual muslims and their relatives, or... I can trust you, with your paranoid and islamophobic websites. Yeah, pretty easy choice there.

It does too matter when you're trying to assert that they "represent most of them(*)[muslims]". If they're simply rich and have a good PR campaign, that says nothing about their representation of muslims in the western world. NOTHING!

Yeah, 19 of 'em scared you so (*)(*)(*)(*)less that you insisted on propagating a cycle of hate (that only benefits them) essentially forever.

Code of ethics ≠ code of ethics we agree with/that are morally good. Never mind that most Muslims have gotten over those parts, much like christians have gotten over the atrocities and immoral lessons in the bible, assuming they exist in the first place!

We do have issues with poor foreign policy, occupation, installed dictators.. but most Muslims are not violent or vengeful.

But, the ignorant crackpots and crazies on both sides are a problem. The obsession with hatred and lies makes things worse.. and those involved are quite transparent.

This OP is a prime example of (*)(*)(*)(*)ing a family holiday..

    I love animals too.

I take it that is your concern, yes?

Therefore, you should be SEETHING at this.

Every year, devout Jews around the world engage in an age-old ritual called kapparot, in which an individual swings a chicken over his head imbuing it with his sins. The chicken is then slaughtered and its meat donated to a local food charity. In this video, the animal rights activist group PETA documents abuses inconsistent with Jewish ethical laws in an attempt to convince the Jewish public that the ritual should no longer be practiced -- especially considering that Jewish law permits that money be used (and donated) as a substitute for a live animal.

    Not for millions of animals.

PS - in the many pictures I've seen about Eid al Adha, I've never seen a single one involving food.

Because you have never looked for the images of these family feasts.. nor have you every experienced them..

You are fixated on hatred and ignorance. Your mission in life is quite averse to peace or happiness or regard for family life.

I'm generally not concerned with what happens in the ME. I'm a protectionist, concerned with what happens HERE in America. :flagus:

I doubt there is any chance of these RWers heading in your suggested direction. I also doubt kosher will have any influence on this poster, his bigotry is fixed.

How do you know if I'm a vegan or not ? Rhetorical question. I'll supply answer. You don't. Just more of your fool posting.
