    The ban was ineffectual to the point of being laughable. Something like 430,000 people entered the US from China after it was instituted.

    Besides this completely useless display of his xenophobia to keep his base happy Trump did NOTHING and further LIED about the disease to mislead us for NO reason I can see. He has killed tens of thousands of innocent Americans all of whom have suffered agonizing deaths facing their oncoming demise utterly alone and in terrible pain. In most other nations he would be in prison at best, and here he is still a viable candidate for President. After this, I will retain my belief that America is the "land of the Free and the home of the brave" but we are surely not the abode of the smart.

    but i find it odd the left claims he doesn’t listen to the experts and when the experts say he did, you all make this claim.

    The LOCKDOWN saved millions of lives

    The "China travel ban" was pretty ineffectual and oh yea...there was NO ban on travel from Europe for SIX weeks after that "ban that wasn't an actual ban" regarding travel from China

    And what happened AFTER Trump finally shut down travel from Eu 2000.jpg rope?

    nope, the admin guidelines allowed states and cities to open up too quickly and thats why our third wave is worse than the 1st and 2nd.

    Cuomo specifically followed Federal guidelines, which said that patients with Covid should not be banned from nursing homes and patients with Covid need not be removed from nursing homes.

    no he ignored them. that is not what the guidelines said, it had requirements of the nursing homes that he ignored

    the CDC guidelines specifically said:

    "patients who have Covid-19 should not be banned from nursing homes".

    "patients in nursing homes who have Covid-19 need not be removed from the nursing home".
