    EPIC cover by the Pats.

    Favored -2.5 (won 27-24). Never a doubt.

I'm very interested to see what Harrison is going to do for the pats. We need a pass rush more than we need anything else.

    Outside of the the obvious:

Giving the Pats the Pitt playbook?

Harrison will be a good situational guy.

20 snaps in obvious passing downs as an extra pass rusher.

I wonder if Belichick is thinking of the the Toby Keith song. Harrison is not as good as he once was...but maybe, he is as good ONCE as he ever was. That is: maybe he has one more playoff run in him.

Harrison had a good day. 5 tackles, 2 sacks and a “caused fumble and he didn’t see that much action. He looked like an animal.

Harrison had a pretty good day at the SB and continually pressured Foles. What the heck was Belichick thinking in benching Butler. Probably cost him the game. Eagles were 10-16 on third down and 2-2 on fourth down. Maybe Bill is finally losing it. Great win for Doug Petersen and the Eagles. Great game! I am happy that my Pittsburgh Steelers are still the only guys with 6 Super Bowl wins. This could be the end of the unbelievable Belichick/Brady run which is right up there with the Auerbach/Russell dynasty as greatest professional sports dynasties of all time.

Malcolm Butler gave us a SB win against the Seahawks, but then took one away from us against the Eagles.

Another chapter in the history of the NFL's most interesting franchise.

There is an unconfirmed rumor circulating here in the Twin Cities that Butler violated curfew and was caught smoking grass. Again, this is unconfirmed.

Belichick was quick to snap up LeGarrette Blount after the Steelers released him for getting caught smoking grass...If this story is true, which I assume it is, Belichick probably cost his team the game to prove a point. The second stringer got lit up all day..

I'm gonna miss Danny 'Playoff' and Solder but Butler and Lewis are pretty big holes to fill.

Butler may have been a cornerback that couldn't quite keep up with many receivers, but he is one HELL of a tackler. Every game he's responsible for at least one major tackle on either a 3rd or 4th down. However, he did get burnt 3 or 4 times a game in coverage. I couldn't stand that.

Lewis is the perfect RB for Brady. He loves to swing outside and catch the ball with quick agility to get up field. I wonder if the Pats draft a RB.

Marquis Flowers is receiving some calls. He was a playmaker at times, I hope he doesn't leave.

Pats extended an offer to QB AJ McCarron. I watched him play in college and he was really calm in the pocket. He's a smart play caller. I would like to see him as Brady's backup. IMO, he wants to be a starter somewhere so that could affect his decision.

Patrick Robinson, age 30, has peaked the Pats interest too. I wonder if an offer will be made.

Paul Worrilow from the Lions is also on the Pats radar. He's a solid linebacker.

Ebner agrees to a 2 year extension with the Pats. Glad to see that

Jordy Nelson??? He's looking at the Patriots, Raiders, Ravens, Seahawks, and 49ers

So we draft an O-lineman early which I like, but the RB pick in the first round stuns me a little. Yes, we need to replace Dion Lewis with someone good. But that's usually reserved for later rounds. Coach must already have an eye on a QB and it's not who we think it is

Now we're talking! O Lineman Trent Brown. Coach is obviously working on protecting Brady. Last year Brady took a beating. We drafted a BEAST O Lineman (replacing Solder) and then we add Brown. I like the moves.

Now, who the hell is Coach eyeing as the new franchise QB? Obviously McDaniels is scouting. He's going to be coach in the next couple of years (if not next year sadly). He wants to find his own Brady (which he won't, unfortunately). But I hope he does :)
