I made my first post over in the Political Opinions thread having to do with Trump and what he has done for this country. By and large he has fulfilled his campaign promises and is doing a lot of great things for this country. The media seems to want to spin this so it looks like thats not whats actually happening however. Trump hate is strong on this forum. Several posters here make it their life’s work to copy and paste every negative article they can find as well as eagerly participate in the prescribed outrage of the day. Keep in mind that these people do not participate in society, they are not in the workforce, and spend their lives dwelling on the Internet. In other words, be trump the best or worst president in our history it wouldn’t change a grain of sand in their lives, they just need to pretend it does.
Hello Joe and welcome to the forum. The thing is that our Democratic Party loyalists (though I usually just lump them together under the term 'leftists') can and will easily refute everything that you produce of a factual nature praising President Trump's accomplishments through the simple expediency of delivering tons of counter-factual data -- otherwise known as leftist alt-facts -- that actually have little to do with reality and very nearly everything to do with political propaganda. The thing, however, is that our leftists generally BELIEVE in the sacred validity of these propaganda-based alt-facts and simply will flood any thread crafted in straight forward praise of Trump's facts-based accomplishments with this stuff, and sometimes in the posting equivalent of page after page after page of the same. They are wrong, but they do not know that they are wrong. They believe their party's propagandists, and it doesn't get any more basic or real than that. What you need to watch out for are the few RINOs (Republicans in Name Only) who will even go so far as to insist that they are conservatives, who actually post pretty much exactly the same anti-Trump propaganda as facts as do the most ardent farthest ideological leftists posting here. That it is almost impossible for any reader to tell the difference between either the ideology or politics of the typical RINO versus the most strident foam-at-the-brain-pan leftist is something that these RINO posters tend to shrug off as mere coincidence. So far we have had two in two years finally admit to us that essentially they had really been leftists all along; and simply cease pretending to be otherwise. That's always a relief, because otherwise it is like encountering a barking . . . cat.
Well said. I would also go so far as to posit that most of them reek of protected gated-community existence where their security is guaranteed by the walls that they purport to disdain and by the armed guards that they purport to despise. Their lawns are cut by deliberately underpaid illegal aliens and ditto for housekeepers if any of these are at that elevated degree of income. Mostly these leftist posters are complete hypocrites.
